In two days, the latest Toy Story movie will hit the big screen. As a Disney lover, there is a lot of excitement about a new addition to the popular series. Toy Story 5 will feature some familiar characters as well as some new ones to love. I am eagerly anticipating a trip to the movie theater in the next little while. Something else that has made me excited about the new movie? The fact that Taylor Swift released a song for the soundtrack, "I Knew It, I Knew You." She attended the Toy Story 5 premiere recently and wore a dress from the Erdem fall collection, which means it is time for another love it or leave it post.

Lauren Conrad remains a style icon. Recently, there was a Laguna Beach reunion that aired exclusively on the Roku Channel. Thankfully, our television set came with the Roku Channel already included, so watching the reunion was a breeze. The reunion special included the cast members from season one of the show and there was all sorts of behind the scenes information shared. As someone who was seriously obsessed with Laguna Beach when it aired (and then The Hills), it was nice to "go back to the beginning." This love it or leave it? post is dedicated to the outfit Lauren Conrad wore on the red carpet for the reunion.

It is time for another theme week here on the creation of beauty is art. This time around, all posts will be dedicated to perfume reviews. The reason? A few perfumes were gifted to me during different holidays (Christmas and Valentine's Day) and I have been putting them to use ever since. It seemed like the perfect time to share some of my thoughts on these unforgettable scents. The first is thank u next 2.0 from Ariana Grande. six books on my spring book list.

So many books, so little time. If only it was possible to spend all of my hours reading! Since there are other responsibilities that need to be handled, reading is something that I tend to treat myself to at the end of the day. It is a reward. Something to look forward to. My last seasonal reading list included all sorts of Christmas themed books, but this spring, there is more of an assortment. Mysteries, biographies, and so much more. Despite the number of reviews that are featured here on the creation of beauty is art. it actually isn't too often that I treat myself to new makeup products. (I have cut back a lot in recent years, but am still lucky enough to receive beauty products on holidays and birthdays.) However, a few months ago, I ended up browsing the beauty aisles while waiting for my husband to finish running an errand. Long story short, I fell in love with a handful of Kylie Cosmetics items. Some were part of the much talked about King Kylie collection, which is essentially a throwback collection inspired by the early days of the brand. There was also a hair and body mist that smelled incredible. Ready to take a closer look at the products that were too tempting to resist? There is something special about perfume. The right scent can make the world feel a little more manageable - and can deliver an added boost of confidence. There are all sorts of perfumes, body mists, room sprays, and other wonderful scents in my home. The latest addition comes from Kylie Jenner. rare beauty review: stay vulnerable glossy lip balm

Sephora used to be one of my favourite places to shop, but in more recent years, my purchases there have been limited. However, since I had some Sephora gift cards in my wallet, the Rare Beauty perfume was added to my collection (read about that perfume and layering balm here) as well as the Stay Vulnerable Glossy Lip Balm in the shade Nearly Neutral.

There have been Sephora gift cards burning a hole in my wallet for months and months and months. Despite this, there hasn't been anything that really caught my eye. (Or if it did, the product didn't seem to be in stock.) When the Rare Beauty perfume, Rare Eau de Parfum, was released, it was a no brainer. I love perfume, Rare Beauty products, and Selena Gomez. Unfortunately, it was harder to use my Sephora gift cards than anticipated. The perfume was sold out online and in every store that I visited. In fact, even the tester bottle was completely empty. When my mom was out and about, she happened to find one of the layering balms and purchased it for me. Finally, I was able to find one of the travel sized versions of the Rare Eau de Parfum and used some gift cards to add it to my collection. Sometimes, it is fun to get inspired by different red carpet looks. There always seem to be premieres and special events where celebrities wear outfits that are more expensive than my entire wardrobe combined. Though the outfits are not necessarily pieces that I would like to wear myself...the designs are often bold, creative, and a little out there. Definitely a feast for the eyes! How long is your list? The trouble with so many streaming services, both free and subscription based, is that my watch list tends to grow and grow and grow...and then the shows and movies I want to watch slip my mind entirely. My current list is long and the chances of me watching everything that I would like to are slim to none. Unless I happen to win the lottery or am granted immortality. So while this post is all about style, it is also a reminder to myself to watch one of the movies on my ever growing list. Worth The Wait stars Lana Condor, Ross Butler, and many others in a movie about four different relationships. Since I have watched the To All The Boys I've Loved Before movies on Netflix more times than I should ever admit...a new movie with Lana Condor is a must. Especially since it is totally free to watch. (No seriously. You can watch it here. I will be watching it shortly!) Another must? Discussing the red carpet look that Lana Condor wore to promote Worth The Wait.

The countdown is on. There are 151 days until Wicked: For Good is released in movie theatres. The much buzzed about second half of Wicked is sure to have some stand out moments. Recently, the trailer was released (check that trailer out here if you missed it) and it looks fantastic. I cannot wait to see how it all ends on screen for Elphaba and Glinda. shop my stash: summer inspired makeup look

It is officially the first day of summer. Maybe you have all sorts of exciting summer plans. Or maybe you are simply hoping to get through the season without a sunburn. Wherever you fall, here is hoping the next couple of months will be memorable for all the right reasons. Lately, my focus has been largely on beauty products that I already own, so I went through some of my palettes to find one that had lots of seasonal colours. In the end, it was the 24K Birthday Collection Eyeshadow Palette from Kylie Cosmetics that won out. The eyeshadow palette includes all sorts of warm colours that are ideally suited to the season.

There are all sorts of lipsticks and lip products in my collection. Some of those products are bold (like black lipstick, bright purple, and even blue) while others are more suited to everyday looks. Out of all the lip products that are available to me, the products that I reach for most come from Winky Lux and Kylie Cosmetics. With the Winky Lux items, it is the fact that the pH lip balms provide colour and hydration without maintenance. With Kylie Cosmetics, it is the fact that the colours are warm and beautiful...and the products stay put. Low maintenance makeup is always my favourite. Worrying about products moving, flaking, or shifting is not my idea of a good time. I want makeup that stays where I applied it.
