Sometimes, it is fun to get inspired by different red carpet looks. There always seem to be premieres and special events where celebrities wear outfits that are more expensive than my entire wardrobe combined. Though the outfits are not necessarily pieces that I would like to wear myself...the designs are often bold, creative, and a little out there. Definitely a feast for the eyes! Are you in need of a little inspiration? Here are some examples of celebrity fashion that I have been loving lately.
Natasha Lyonne. The first look that I have been loving lately (and the inspiration for this post) was worn by the incredible Natasha Lyonne. Not only is she a wildly talented actress and an impressive person all around...her style is out of this world amazing. Natasha wore this stunning sheer design from Balmain at San Diego Comic Con recently. I love the tall black boots to add contrast and the thoughtful accessories. This look is soft but strong - and looks absolutely incredible on Natasha.
Pamela Anderson. Talk about classic and elegant! The incredible Pamela Anderson promoted The Naked Gun movie wearing a custom design from Thom Browne. The dress is backless but has a classic boat-neck design in the front. The colour is beautiful and the brooch on the front and the gloves are the perfect addition. I also love the polished and poised hairstyle.
Lindsey Lohan. The new Freaky Friday movie, Freakier Friday, is out now. (And is on my list of movies to see.) That means Lindsay Lohan has been gracing all sorts of red carpets for the different premiers and promotional outings. Though there have been a lot of great looks, the one above is my favourite. This custom design from Ludovic de Saint Sernin is a nod to the original movie - right down to the guitar shaped purse. The colour is beautiful as are all of the gorgeous details on the dress.
Jenna Ortega. Promoting the next season of Wednesday, Jenna Ortega wore this incredible look from Vivienne Westwood. I love how gothic and glamorous it is - and I especially love the colour combination and those amazing ruffles. This look is so wrong that it is right. But what I love most about this red carpet look is the hair and makeup. Talk about stunning. Everything about this look is bold, daring, and just a little bit creepy. It is perfection, especially as we creep closer to spooky season.
What do you think of these red carpet looks? What celebrity style has been inspiring you lately?
These are nice styles. I enjoyed the first 4 episodes of Wednesday S2 :-D
