love it or leave it? lana condor

How long is your list? The trouble with so many streaming services, both free and subscription based, is that my watch list tends to grow and grow and grow...and then the shows and movies I want to watch slip my mind entirely. My current list is long and the chances of me watching everything that I would like to are slim to none. Unless I happen to win the lottery or am granted immortality. So while this post is all about style, it is also a reminder to myself to watch one of the movies on my ever growing list. Worth The Wait stars Lana Condor, Ross Butler, and many others in a movie about four different relationships. Since I have watched the To All The Boys I've Loved Before movies on Netflix more times than I should ever admit...a new movie with Lana Condor is a must. Especially since it is totally free to watch. (No seriously. You can watch it here. I will be watching it shortly!) Another must? Discussing the red carpet look that Lana Condor wore to promote Worth The Wait.

What I Love: There is so much to love about this red carpet look. Talk about sophisticated! I love the sleek hairstyle with the hair scooped behind the back, the warm but neutral makeup, and those beautiful earrings. Then there is the dress, which has a rounded neckline and includes pockets. (Every dress should include pockets, if you ask me.) The material chosen makes the dress look structured but not stiff. The black heels are a nice touch and complement the black bows. The overall look is ultra glamorous. It reminds me of something that an Old Hollywood star would have worn to an award ceremony once upon a time.

What I Loathe: Truth be told, there is nothing I loathe about this outfit. That being said, I have seen some comments online criticizing the bows all over the dress. I personally think they are cute, well placed, and do not make the design too busy. The bows are thoughtful and add just the right something special to the look. So...love it or leave it? This is an all out love for me.

What do you think of this sophisticated look from Lana Condor? Love it or leave it?

  1. A very beautiful look for the red carpet. However, I'm not a fan of black bows. I don't really like the shape or placement.
But that's just a matter of taste. Overall, Lana Condor looks pretty in the dress. :)

I wish you a very nice new week <3
