new in: guess charm bracelet + discount shopping haul video

I am no stranger to Guess accessories. Over the years, more than a handful of their glitzy pieces have made their way into my collection. When it comes to Guess....some people absolutely love their in-your-face designs while others do not. Clearly, I fall into the love category! Their pieces tend to have all the things that make me happiest: sparkle, shine, and an extra dash of fun. Just take the set pictured above. It certainly checks all of those boxes and then some. 

Shopping hasn't really been on my radar much these days. (At least, not to the extent that it used to be.) The reality is that unless someone orders me something online or picks up something while they are out....nothing new is coming into my home. This is largely because I don't leave the house much. Unless it is for a long overdue trip to the grocery store! Where I live, restrictions were slowly being lifted, but the COVID-19 numbers continue to increase, so we now have stay at home orders. Since it seems that it will be quite a while until I am eligible for a vaccine....it seems that I will be indoors for quite a long time.

That being said, there was one day that I ventured out. (Though venturing out at all tends to make me feel more than a little anxious lately.) There were some special occasions coming up and I was struggling to find appropriate gifts for my loved ones. While online shopping has certain benefits, it can be difficult to shop when you don't know exactly what you are looking for. Browsing in a store has always been the easiest way to find someone special a gift. So, my husband and I went to a store to see what we could come up with. Luckily, we were able to find some necessary gifts as well as a few gift ideas to look for online. We also stumbled upon that beautiful accessories set from Guess. It came with a pair of tear-dropped earrings that were simple but sparkly. Then the star of the show: that dazzling charm bracelet. 

It is no secret that I am a fan of a good charm bracelet. I have all sorts! Christmas charm bracelets, Disney charm bracelets....themed bracelets of all kinds. I love that they express lots of personality and can add a little whimsy to any outfit. This particular charm bracelet has a little bit of everything. There are classic Guess icons and logos along with hearts, small round charms, a lock and key, and my favourite...that sparkly snake charm. The bracelet itself is a beautiful rose gold colour and will certainly work with a number of different pieces that are already in my collection. Though this isn't something that I will likely wear right away (courtesy of the pandemic), it is something I look forward to wearing in future.
