clinique haul (skin care, makeup, and more)

Some brands consistently deliver quality products. Clinique is definitely one of those brands. Over the years, I have tried everything from skin care to beauty products and rarely has there been a disappointment. Since they tend to be on the pricier side, I like to time my purchases very carefully. Every six months or so....there seems to be a promotion where if you spend over $30 you receive a goodie bag full of Clinique favourites. That happened not long ago, and I was able to try out some newer items for myself. Here is a peek at everything I picked up in my most recent Clinique haul.

Clinique Haul:

  • Turnaround Overnight Revitalizing Moisturizer. This is something I had a sample of a while back and really enjoyed. So, I decided to purchase it for myself. Since I have really dry skin, I am always in need of a good overnight cream. This one in particular is designed for very dry to combination oily skin so, wherever you fall on the spectrum, it will add plenty of moisture to your skin by the time you wake up in the morning.
  • Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief. There are not enough words in the English language for me to describe how much I am loving this product! I am totally addicted to the Moisture Surge line in general and this is a brand new product that elevates that love even more. It is a quick and easy spray that you can use throughout the day or whenever your skin is feeling dry. I use this constantly and it has made a huge difference.
  • Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser. Now to get into some of those samples. This cleanser is something that I have used in the past and liked...but not enough to purchase a full size of. It works well and I like it, but for whatever reason, this isn't something I am eager to buy for myself.
  • Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate. This is another skin care product that I have used in the past...and used up quickly! The supercharged concentrate formula is great for days when your skin is feeling parched. Like, really dry. It adds intense hydration and can completely revitalize your skin care routine.
  • Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm in Amp'd Up Apple. Finally, we are getting into the makeup. This was my first time trying out one of the chubby sticks designed for the face and I really am liking this so far. The colour is warm, rosy, and great for spring. It leaves the skin looking very fresh and glowing and has a nice natural finish.
  • Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Super Strawberry. Oh, do I love the Clinique lip balms. I absolutely adore them! In fact, I have a bunch of different shades from their collection because they are so hydrating but still have a ton of pigmentation. They are easy to wear and are ridiculously comfortable. This shade in particular is really pretty and ideal for the spring and summer months.
  • High Impact Mascara in 01 Black. I'll admit it....I am pretty loyal when it comes to mascara. There are a few that I absolutely adore (The Super Sizer by Cover Girl, They're Real! by Benefit, Better Than Sex by Too Faced, and Diorshow by Dior) and everything else just kind of underwhelms me. As good as this mascara is, it just doesn't thrill me.
  • Lip Colour and Primer in Plum Pop. Though there are a lot of Clinique lip balms hanging around in my makeup collection, there are only a couple of actual lipsticks. So, I was very excited to try out this one in Plum Pop. It is a beautiful rich shade with solid staying power and great colour payoff. Plus, it is really comfortable. Bonus!
In addition to the products I purchased and received as part of the promotion, there was also the black and white makeup bag and card wallet (pictured above) from Marimekko. I think these are super stylish and a wonderful bonus. There was another design to choose from as well but this one caught my eye because it was so bold yet effortlessly feminine. All in all, I did really well in this Clinique haul. There are a ton of items that I have really been enjoying lately - and some new things to try out as well.

Something else I am loving recently is the Maybelline Total Temptation Eye and Face Palette, which I recently reviewed for my YouTube channel. If you've passed by it in the drugstore and wondered how it performed...now you can find out once and for all. Take a peek at my latest video for live swatches and more.

Are you a fan of Clinique? Have you purchased any new skin care products lately?
