Her red carpet looks tend to play with colour and pattern...and there are always strategically placed cut outs involved. She isn't afraid to wear form-fitting gowns one night and oversized jeans the next. As someone who is not nearly as daring when it comes to personal style, it is always exciting to see what Kylie is wearing in her latest Instagram post or in a new photoshoot. Kylie Jenner Week is in full swing here on the creation of beauty is art. While the last post included a haul and a video...this post is dedicated to Kylie Skin. Though I have been able to try out different Kylie Cosmetics products over the years, this was my first time being able to use Kylie Skin. Excited doesn't even begin to describe it. As I have mentioned many times before, taking better care of my skin is always on my list of new years resolutions. This is because I often struggle to be consistent or to do a full skin care routine. Thankfully, the 6-Piece Kylie Skin set makes taking care of my skin foolproof.

There is no denying the fact that Kylie Jenner is a pop culture icon. This starlet grew up on reality television but made a name for herself thanks to Kylie Cosmetics. The beloved lip kit totally transformed the beauty world. Since then, Kylie Cosmetics has become a massive brand that continues to expand. Case in point? Kylie Cosmetics is now available in Canada. Woo hoo! Previously, her products were available online (with steep shipping fees) and in the US. In the past, I had placed a small handful of orders on her website. However, the shipping fees and exchange rate made it a once and a while treat rather than something that could be done on a regular or even semi-regular basis. Whenever I would visit the US on a shopping trip or vacation, it was Ulta, Ulta, and more Ulta, because I wanted to take home a few Kylie Cosmetics items with me. But now? All of that is over. Kylie Cosmetics is finally available in my country and I could not be more excited. Now, I will be able to pop over to the drugstore if I run out of something or if I am in the mood for a new lip kit. What bliss!

Every once and a while, a product comes along that makes you wonder. The Kaja Wink Stamp Wing Eyeliner Stamp and Eyeliner Pen set is certainly something that made me wonder. It claimed to deliver a perfect wing in seconds. What could be better than that? As someone who has always struggled with winged liner (despite my obsession with it) this sounded like a total dream come true. Finally, my winged liner would match. I don't know why, but liner on my left eye is always a breeze and liner on my right eye is always a nightmare. I can never seem to get the right to match the left. It feels like such a struggle, no matter how many times I do my makeup. And I do my makeup almost every single day! Despite that, winged liner is always the hardest part for me. The idea of a stamp that would simplify the application process really interested me. So....does it work??

#FOTD: bronze and gold fall makeup look

It is time for another #FOTD. Lately, one of my favourite things has been to do my makeup for no reason at all. I really don't leave the house much (thanks to working from home and doing everything possible to stay safe)...so a little makeup look can really go a long way. Not only does it boost my mood and make me feel a little more polished, but it adds a bit of normality to my days. Not to mention a healthy dose of self expression! Since the fall season is fully underway, my go-to colours seem to be lots of warm bronzes and golds. They just scream autumn because they remind me of the leaves changing colour and all of those stunning warm shades. It also helps that warm metallics are ideal for everyday makeup looks. Stitch has been one of my favourite Disney characters for a very long time. Even though he can be mischievous at times or make mistakes...he is also deeply caring and loyal. This is something to admire. No wonder there are so many Stitch t-shirts and accessories floating around my wardrobe. There is something special about this adorable alien. The other day, there was an article on Buzzfeed called, "21 Times People Realized They're Officially Old." One of the first items on that list was: hearing songs from when you were a teenager on the oldies station. I can say that I honestly felt that deep in my soul. Growing up, there were certain radio stations that my mom would listen to. Those stations would play all sorts of "oldies" tunes. Music I had no real interest in. But in recent years, those same radio stations have begun to play the music of my youth. The songs that have meaning to my life. Songs from Britney Spears, Nsync, Spice Girls, Ricky Martin, and on and on the list goes. The songs that matter most to me are now considered oldies. It is a strange shift to go from the target demographic in most things to...well....not the target demographic in most things. The Top 40 radio stations now play music that I cannot stand. The new releases section is overloaded with CDs from artists I do not recognize. When did this happen? I'm not exactly sure, but it is a strange feeling nonetheless. Though, there is one artist who makes me feel both old and young.
