bath and body works (seasonal wallflower mini haul)

It finally happened. I ran out of Wallflowers from Bath & Body Works. These scented plug ins come in all sorts of different blends and normally cost $8.95 CDN. There were all sorts in my collection after purchasing a bunch on sale after the holiday season (check out that post here) and a few others have been added to my shopping cart since then, but finally, there were none left to reach for. Since I love scents all over my home, this was a real disappointment. Thankfully, there was a sale on the last time I was at the mall. The Wallflowers were five for $29 CDN, a cost of around $5.80 CDN each. Not the best price ever, but certainly an improvement over the regular cost. There were many wonderful scents to choose from (including some seasonal releases now that the holiday season is around the corner), but these are the ones that came home with me.

Though there was a sale for five for $29 CDN, there were only three scents that I chose to add to my basket. The first was Milk and Musk, which is described as fresh and clean. (This is the Wallflower that I currently have plugged in.) The notes are silky whipped cream, white lilac blossom, and sensual amber. This definitely falls under the fresh and clean category thanks to the floral notes, but it also has a wonderful amount of warmth. I love amber in fragrances, so this was an absolute must. I have really been enjoying this Wallflower blend. Next in this mini haul is Marshmallow Fireside. This is my most loved scent from the brand. I always aim to have at least one Marshmallow Fireside candle on hand, because I love the scent so much. It was exciting to find a Wallflower in this scent as well. This is described as Warm and Woodsy and the notes are toasted marshmallow, smoldering woods, fire-roaster vanilla, and crystalized amber. This scent continues to be warm and comforting.

The last two Wallflowers out of the five were dedicated to a seasonal blend. Iced Gingersnap fell under the Holiday Favorites category and it has notes of fresh ginger, baked cookie dough, and vanilla glaze. Gingerbread is my favourite seasonal treat (outside of Christmas Tree Cakes from Little Debbie) so I always like to purchase gingerbread or gingersnap scented items from Bath & Body Works. This smells warm and sweet. Like a cookie right out of the oven. It is perfect for the holiday season. Once my current scent, Milk and Musk, is finished, it will be Iced Gingersnap that takes over...right in time for all of the festivities.

Do you use the Wallflowers from Bath & Body Works? What kind of scents do you enjoy most at this time of year?
