Well, my days of writing about Charmed Aroma are nearing an end. As I mentioned in my advent calendar post recently, the Charmed Aroma store near me finally closed down. So...all there is left to review is this Holiday House candle and one Disney themed candle that was gifted to me during the holiday season. It is definitely a bummer, because I love candles and I love jewellery. Having the two combined was a total thrill. Ahh well, it sure was nice while it lasted. Now it is time to talk about one of the last Charmed Aroma candles in my foreseeable future: the Charmed Aroma Holiday House Opal Necklace Collection.

Stitch has been one of my favourite Disney characters for a very long time. Even though he can be mischievous at times or make mistakes...he is also deeply caring and loyal. It has become a bit of an addiction. Last year for Christmas, a friend gifted me a Charmed Aroma candle. It came in a pink velvet case with a fluffy pink pom pom charm on top. Harry Potter has been a constant in my life. I have such wonderful memories of lining up for book releases and midnight screenings of the movies. Of staying up too late reading and re-reading the books. Of relaxing on a Sunday afternoon with my favourite Harry Potter film. Though the author is not someone I support any longer, I still love the Harry Potter world. (It is hard to believe that someone who wrote about love and understanding could be so...well...you know.) The stories were about good versus evil, confronting your fears, and doing the right thing. They were about friendship, found family, and love. It makes sense that these stories have connected with so many readers and viewers around the world. Since Harry Potter is still an important part of my life, it was hard to resist the latest Charmed Aroma release: a Love Potion Candle.

I absolutely love burning candles. This is in part due to the many fabulous scents there are to choose from....and in part because I was never allowed to burn them when I lived with my parents. (They were afraid one of us kids would be absentminded enough to burn down the house!) When I moved out, it was candles, candles, and more candles. I am currently trying to work through the ones I have. However, a new addition recently made its way into my life. One of my friends gave me a beautiful candle from Charmed Aroma. Though I have used candles from many different brands over the years, this one had eluded me. Not long ago, I became memorized by a Charmed Aroma ad on Instagram and was this close to placing an order, but stopped myself. I needed to use up the candles I had before splurging on new ones! Lucky for me, my friend was able to read my mind somehow. She ordered the absolute perfect candle for me. So, on that note. Here it is: my very first Charmed Aroma experience.

My all-time favourite Bath & Body Works candle scent is Marshmallow Fireside. Not only did it make my list of holiday favourites this year, but it remains a staple in my candle collection. There is something about the scent that I absolutely adore. (Maybe it's the fact that it smells like toasted marshmallows....yum!) What does this have to do with Charmed Aroma? Their Fireside S'mores candle smells almost identical. Plus, it comes with a bracelet. That means the candle has an incredible scent and a fabulous accessory hidden inside. Cinderella is one of those movies that reminds me of my youth. Though all Disney cartoons were special, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Pocahontas were some of my most watched VHS tapes. Those characters always felt extra special to me. When it comes to Cinderella, there was (and still is) a lot to love. The beautiful dress, the cute animals, and of course, the idea that miracles happen to good people. I loved it all. Fun fact: my wedding theme was actually Cinderella! Needless to say, the movie, the music, and the characters will always be important to me. I suppose it is fitting that my last Charmed Aroma review and reveal is a Cinderella themed one. The Charmed Aroma stores have all shut down where I live and I do not like the idea of shipping breakable items to my doorstep. So...this is it as far as I can tell. There is a lot to love about the holiday season. One example? Advent calendars. I love them a lot, but over the years, it has been harder to find decent ones that aren't overly expensive. (Even though I love watching people open all sorts of advent calendars on YouTube, the idea of spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on an advent calendar is ridiculous to me.) Thankfully, the Charmed Aroma 12 Days of Jewelry advent calendar was a little more reasonable, especially because the store had a sale taking place when the calendar was purchased. Sadly, there is not a lot of Charmed Aroma in my future, because the store near me finally closed. This calendar was purchased in late November and the store was closed on Boxing Day! Another day, another Charmed Aroma post. The holiday season certainly left me feeling pampered. Especially because so many of my friends and loved ones gave me Charmed Aroma items! Bath bombs are not exactly my favourite. The reason is pretty simple: I don't find sitting in a tub with lots of bubbles and fizz to be relaxing. That being said, I know many people who love taking luxurious baths with all the dressings. For those people, the Charmed Aroma Masquerade Bath Bomb would be ideal. For me? It was all about digging out the hidden treasure inside. This was a free little add on and so it only made sense to see what the ring inside would look like. Ahh....Charmed Aroma. They certainly know how to maintain my interest. If it isn't a Harry Potter themed candle or a penguin themed candle...it is something Disney inspired. Most recently? That included the 101 Dalmatians release. This scented jewellery candle had five possible necklace options hidden inside. Each one was of course inspired by one of the iconic characters. Advent calendars are a special part of the holiday season. Some years, there is just a chocolate one to count down the days and other years, there is something a little more elaborate. But no matter what, I like to watch all sorts of advent unboxing videos on YouTube each year. I love the surprise of seeing what is hidden away inside! This year, my countdown to Christmas included a chocolate advent calendar, an Elf themed calendar, a Disney Princess Lego themed calendar, and a Charmed Aroma themed calendar. I was gifted the Elf, Lego, and Charmed Aroma calendars for my birthday in the fall (there is nothing I love more than receiving an advent calendar for my birthday) and was finally able to open them, day by day. However, there was another advent calendar that snuck in at the last minute when I found a discounted Cath Kidston calendar in late December. On a whim, I decided to add it to my countdown. All good things must come to an end. Or at least that is how the saying goes. Unfortunately, the Charmed Aroma store nearest to me will be no more. I discovered this on Boxing Day as there were STORE CLOSING signs plastered all over the walls. It was my first time heading out for Boxing Day since the pandemic hit...and it was a lot of fun. (Minus the whole store closing business.) It wasn't that there were a ton of great deals at the mall or anything like that. It was just nice to spend the day shopping with my mom. On Boxing Day, I was able to pick up a few discounted holiday items at Hallmark, some seasonal CDs and DVDs at an entertainment store, and a pair of fantastic Sailor Moon sweatpants at Hot Topic. Oh, and a few items from Charmed Aroma as well. I don't know when the store closing was announced, but by Boxing Day, there was not a whole lot left. Ultimately, the Snow Day candle and the Polar Bear Bath Bomb came home with me. There weren't any displays left out, so I had no idea what kind of jewellery would be inside, but at a 60% discount, it was worth finding out.
