fall week: fun fashion trends for fall 2025.

Do you follow seasonal fashion trends? Are you looking for something interesting to refresh your current wardrobe? Each season, there are different trends seen on and off the runways. While not all of them may speak to your own personal style, there might be one or two that are appealing. On that note, here are a few of my favourite fashion trends for fall 2025.

All Things Burgundy. As mentioned in an earlier makeup post (check it out here) the main colour for fall 2025 is burgundy. It is always fun to see what colour trend will appear in all of the store windows. Thankfully, burgundy is warm, beautiful, and super simple to incorporate into any fall look. Chances are, there is something burgundy in your wardrobe already! Take a look for burgundy pieces that you can add into your seasonal rotation - and don't forget to look at your accessories. Scarves, gloves, earrings, necklaces, belts, and anything else you can think of is fair game. Have fun with this luxurious and on trend colour. 

Plaid, Plaid, and More Plaid. Something that will never go out of style? Plaid. This fall, it is back and better than ever before. There are many different ways to wear it. Some designers are focused on earthy colors (like the ones seen above, with mixtures of green, blue, and brown) while others are focused on brighter and more unexpected colours, like rich jewel tones. Whether you are adding in a bit of plaid with a 90s inspired button down, a scarf, or coat, choose colours that highlight your own style.

Sequins and Sparkle. Even though the skies are grey and the temperatures are starting to cool....it is possible to dazzle. This fall season, it is possible to stand out and bring a little sparkle into your world with sequins. Try adding a sequin skirt with chunky knitted sweater or pairing a sequin blazer with a sheer black blouse. Take a look at what you have and what you see in stores. Maybe there is something sequined and sparkly you can make the most of this fall season. It is easy to have fun with fashion!
