There is an alarm set on my phone for 1:58 p.m. each weekday. That alarm is my reminder to turn on the latest episode of Beyond The Gates. Ever since this soap opera premiered at the end of February, it has become a full blown obsession. I love the drama, the characters, the sets, and the style. Speaking of style...the wardrobe is out of this world amazing and so is the makeup. Every time an episode airs, I am wowed by the incredible looks that the characters are wearing. Everything is so bold and elegant. Since makeup is another one of my obsessions, it was only a matter of time before an attempt was made to combine the two. Lately, I have been doing my best to recreate some of these stunning soap opera makeup looks.
Beyond The Gates Makeup Look #2. The second makeup look that I fell in love with recently was worn by the character Eva Thomas. (The actress, Ambyr Michelle seems wonderful and has a YouTube channel that I have been loving.) The makeup look featured warm metallic colours on the eyes, a bold blush, and a pink nude lip. Everything about this makeup screamed summer. Thankfully, there were similar eyeshadow shades in my makeup collection, so my focus was on a palette that had warm golds, copper, and even a bit of red. On the cheeks was a warm colourful blush and then a pink nude lip gloss. Though the recreation is not exact, it definitely captures the essence of this bold summer makeup look from Beyond The Gates.
It was fun to create some Beyond The Gates inspired makeup looks recently. The show is a constant source of inspiration! I love the clothes, the accessories, and the makeup. Maybe there will be more recreations in the future, but until then, be sure to let me know what you think of these soap opera makeup looks - and whether you are watching Beyond The Gates.
Turning soap opera makeup into real-life looks? That’s next-level fun. Kat’s smokey eye with gold glitter sounds like a perfect mix of drama and elegance—classic with a twist. And Eva’s warm metallics are the kind of summer vibe makeup that actually feels wearable, not over the top. Shows like these remind us makeup isn’t just routine, it’s art. Keep those recreations coming. https://www.melodyjacob.com/2025/07/the-cheese-cure-my-review-finding-more.html
