love it or leave it? zoë kravitz

Red carpet events are always kind of exciting. I love looking at the different outfits the A-listers wear. Some are good, some are bad, and some fall somewhere in the middle....but they are all memorable in their own right. More recently? Zoë Kravitz wore Oscar de la Renta on the red carpet for the premiere of The Batman in New York City. Ready to see this bold red carpet ensemble? This love it or leave it? is dedicated to the ultra talented and stylish Zoë Kravitz.

What I Love: Wow, wow, wow. First thing is first...that dress. The black strapless dress is anything but ordinary thanks to the cat shaped design at the bust and the crisscross design down the front. The gown effortlessly blends together the expected and the unexpected, making this a red carpet win. With ultra simple accessories (sparkly earrings and a few simple rings), the dress was really allowed to shine. The sleek hairstyle was a win as well. It made a statement, but didn't overwhelm the overall look. Add in the understated makeup and bold brows, and there was an awful lot to love.

What I Loathe: There is nothing that I would change about this stunning red carpet look. Though the cat shapes on the bust may be unusual and unexpected...Zoë is playing Catwoman in her latest film. Those cat shapes are both a fun fashion moment and a nod to the role. This look oozes elegance from head to toe, but the cat shaped design makes it memorable for all the right reasons. Who said fashion should be boring? Even chic looks can afford to be a little playful.

Love it or leave it? Love, love, love. Zoë is stunning and this red carpet look was an absolute knockout. I look forward to seeing what else she will bring to these sorts of events in future. She is without question a fabulous fashionista.

What do you think of this red carpet look? Love it or leave it?

  1. I love the whole look too! So glam and fab, and the cat silhouette for the bodice is cute!

  3. I thought "she must really like cats" when I saw it, then read it was the batman premier and wondered if it was supposed to be batman? I'm glad you pointed out she is playing catwoman so I know my first guess of cats was right, haha!

Not my kind of outfit but she really rocks it!

Hope that your week is going well :)
