make it a december to remember.

It's here! For some people, the arrival of this month brings forth feelings of anxiety and stress. It's true that there is a lot to get done....from decorating, shopping, baking, and get togethers with loved ones. But that is what makes the season so grand. Stressful as it may be sometimes. Me personally? I am the type of person who has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of December for ages. My Christmas shopping started way back at the end of summer and I have been making lists, planning, and watching holiday movies all year long. Basically? I am Christmas obsessed. I absolutely love this time of year. Everything about it makes me happy.

This post is really just a way for me to welcome in the holiday season. It is a time of love, joy, and giving. Of sharing special traditions and making magical memories. For me, the best part of December is not Christmas Day. It is all of the exciting days leading up to it. Like finding the perfect gift for someone I love, handmaking special cards and crafts, listening to seasonal music, and enjoying a white hot chocolate or two! Whether you celebrate Christmas or another holiday altogether....this is definitely the most wonderful time of year.

Over the next month on this blog, expect to see seasonal posts related to my own holiday traditions, lists of favourites, holiday makeup looks, money saving tips, and so much more! Basically anything and everything that celebrates the month of December. I cannot wait to share them all with you. In the meantime, here is a little something to get you in the holiday mood.....

Are you excited that December is here? What are you most looking forward to?

  5. In Finland we have a saying that Christmas is where the children are. Christmas is definitely a season for children and child-minded people. I've always loved Christmas, already as a child, and even growing up. Now, as a mother & adult orphan, I look the most forward to spending time with my & my sister's family <3 I can't wait to see my daughter's expressions when she receives her presents on Christmas Eve. Thank you for stopping by my blog, and leaving me such a kind comment. Happy Holidays!
