30 day beauty challenge: day 22


Already I am on day 22 of the 30 day beauty challenge. Nearly there! Today's challenge is: Beauty Tips For a Big Night Out. Personally, I always love getting ready for a night out. There is something thrilling about taking extra time and care with your hair and makeup, and getting yourself in the right frame of mind for whatever the evening may hold.

Here are my tips:

- Allow yourself an extra twenty minutes to a half hour longer than you think you'll need to get ready. It saves you from running around at the end!

- Lay out your outfit, accessories included, the night before, or a few hours before you start to get ready. You may end up changing your mind last minute, but at least you'll have a starting point.

- A smokey eye, nude lip, and bronzed cheeks can create a fail-proof nighttime look! I am of the belief that you can't go wrong with a smokey eye! Another tip? Do the eyes before you put on your foundation if you're worried about fall out.

- Make a playlist of upbeat music to listen to while you get ready. It can completely change your mood! A lot of times when I start to get ready, I would much rather stay in my sweatpants and watch TV. But the right music can completely change that and get me ready for a big night!

    The music part is soooo true! Getting ready at night can be a pain and yes all I want to do is stay in my comfy clothes and watch a movie. Playing party music definitely changes that.
