i know God will not give me anything i can't handle. i just wish that He didn't trust me so much.

My life has been pretty full in the last several months. I have been working at my job, doing an internship, blogging and occasionally attempting to have a social life. I was handling it all pretty well, despite never having free time. Until tonight, that is. With one week left of my internship - which I have genuinely loved doing, even if it meant giving up my free time- I broke down. I could feel it coming on all day at work - I was in a foul mood for no reason at all. Everything got to me. It all felt like too much.

I have no solution, except to keep pushing through. What is helping me in this exact moment, is this picture I came across recently. It makes me feel calmer somehow.

What do you do to de-stress?

whenever I'm stressed I write in my journal until I feel better or I've figured out exactly what is bothering me.

I always watch a really good movie. one that demands my attention so that I'm not thinking about anything but the characters. it's always relaxing to dive into someone else's life. super happy I found your blog. totally following. If you get a sec I'd love to hear what you think of my fashion blog. It's all about the adventures of a southern girl turned LA stylist. xo

  16. Boy, do I know these feelings like the back of my hand!!! What I do to de-stress?? Coffee and desert. OR improve something that needs worked on... IE: blog graphics, clean the house, fix something broken. Then I feel accomplished and some how relieves a ton of stress :)

  23. It's the worst feeling when you just have a big breakdown and cry over the littlest thing. That happened to me a while ago when I didn't fit into a pair of jeans! I look at pics of my daughter to make me happy. Hope you feel better soon xx

  26. Oh babe, there's only a week left, but I know how horrible it is when you have so much to do, I had real difficulties when I was doing my A Levels and had a job and just attempted to live life too. Don't drink caffeine after 5pm, and make sure you have some down time at the end of the day (: xx

  27. I take a long bath and listen to classical music, how ever strange it might sound but it works!
One of the most difficult things in life is to learn how to say no-but one has to learn to do so, otherwise you'll hit a wall sooner or later. Take some you-time, you deserve it. Great post, way to go!
And thank you for leaving a comment on my blog, I cherish them!
