wicked theme week: casual #FOTD feat. one/size wicked palette

Welcome back to a Wicked theme week here on the creation of beauty is art. With the recent release of the movie, it seemed only appropriate to embrace all of the excitement with some beauty related posts. The first post was dedicated to a collection with H&M (check it out here if you missed it) and this post is dedicated to an eyeshadow palette that I have been loving since its release. One/Size released the Wicked Unlimited Eye and Face Palette seven months back and it featured all sorts of Elphaba and Glinda inspired eyeshadows and blush shades. Take a closer look at the palette and check out a recent #FOTD...

Here is a little reminder of what the Wicked Unlimited Eye and Face Palette from One/Size looks like. As you can see, the palette is split so the eyeshadows and blushes are themed on the two main characters from the musical: Elphaba and Glinda. Of course, it is possible to mix and match, but it is also possible to create a character-specific makeup look. There are some standout shadows in this Wicked inspired palette, but truth be told, I tend to use the Elphaba side most often. (Those greens are everything!) That is the exact reason that I chose to focus on the Glinda side for this casual #FOTD. Take a look....

In my last post about the Wicked Unlimited Eye and Face Palette from One/Size, there were makeup looks that made the most of the green eyeshadows and the blue eyeshadows. So this time, I thought it might be fun to show off the more easy-to-wear neutrals included in the palette. On the Glinda side, there are some really pretty mattes as well as a sparkly pink. Those were the focus of this particular makeup look. To start, the soft pink matte, Tender Heart, was applied all over the lid as a base. The medium brown, Proper Poise, was blended through the crease. On the lid was a healthy amount of the soft pink shimmer shadow, Flirt & Flounce. The medium brown shade was added along the lower lash line and a bit of the sparkly white shadow, Bubble, was added to the inner corner for a little extra sparkle. Though this makeup look was simple to create, it offered a nice contrast between matte and shimmer. There is a lot to love about the Wicked Unlimited Eye and Face Palette from One/Size. Though the bolder green eyeshadows tend to catch my attention more often than not, it was nice to put some of the more neutral eyeshadows to good use as well. This is certainly a well rounded release. I am counting down the days until I am able to see the Wicked movie for myself. Until then...it has been fun using different Wicked inspired products.

What do you think of this Wicked inspired eyeshadow palette from One/Size? Will you see the new movie?
