Sometimes, it is nice to have fun with colour. There are times when I am obsessed with neutral eyeshadow palettes and times when colour seems to call my name. The Morphe 35T Sweetest Tea Artistry Palette is an ideal choice when I am looking for a combination of the two. This eyeshadow palette has lots of warm neutrals as well as some colourful choices. A lot of Morphe items are available at Sephora in Canada and I have purchased several items from the brand there over the years. However, every now and then, some of the eyeshadow palettes appear at Winners or Marshalls for a discounted price. This always makes me happy, because I typically enjoy the eyeshadow formula. The
35T Sweetest Tea Artistry Palette is one that I purchased over the summer and have been using on and off since. I like that there are warm neutrals (browns, creams, metallics) and some vibrant purples, reds, and pinks. It is possible to create bolder looks or something that is a little more suitable for work. There are matte and shimmer shades to choose from as well. This palette offers a lot of versatility.
Look #1: Purple and Shimmer. Though there are a lot of standout shades in the 35T Sweetest Tea Artistry Palette, it is the purples that speak loud and clear to me. (Though I do have a weakness for
purple eyeshadows.) For the makeup look above, the lightest purple shade, Next Level, was applied all over the lid as a base. Then a bit of the brighter purple, Throw A Fit was applied to the outer third, and the deeper purple, With Attitude was added to the outer corner and along the lower lash line. To give this look a little sparkle and shine, So Cute was added on top. I love the combination of the purples and the shimmer eyeshadow. The rest of the makeup look was fairly simple and understated so those shadows could really shine.
Look #2: Warm Corals. Though the neutral colours in this palette are excellent (Temptin' Hue and Sweet Tea are some of my personal favourites) there were so many exciting eyeshadows to put to the test for this 2 looks 1 palette post. Ultimately, it was coral and orange shadows that were used in the makeup look above. I started with the Heat Wave all over the lid and then blended out with Such a Flirt. A little bit of Spiked was added to the outer corner for depth and then some Talkin' Glitz was layered to the inner third for just a little bit of sparkle. (It is hard to resist the shimmers in this palette. They are so fun.) A warm neutral lip colour and coral blush brought all the colours together in a way that was bright but still wearable.
There you have it! Two different makeup looks using the 35T Sweetest Tea Artistry Palette from Morphe. This is a really wonderful release and has a lot to choose from. From everyday neutrals to bold brights, there is something for everyone.
