There are just a few days left until Christmas Day. What a strange thought! I wish there was a way to slow down time somehow, so I could really pause and enjoy all the magical little moments. That is one thing I really enjoy about these countdown to Christmas posts. It allows me to stop and reflect. To really focus on some of my favourite aspects of the holiday season. On that note! In case you missed my first post, here are all of the Winterlicious Questions I will be answering every day until the 25th of December. The latest is my favourite Christmas or holiday song.
Favourite Christmas/Holiday Song
This particular question is an easy one for me. I have had the same favourite Christmas song since the release of Hanson's Snowed In CD back in 1997. The O Holy Night medley is everything. It inspires me every single time I listen to it and really just sums up the feeling of Christmas to me. Actually, the entire album feels like Christmas to me. I've listened to it countless times over the years and will continue to listen to it each and every holiday season (and several times throughout the year as well). Want to hear the song for yourself? Here it is....

Don't know this one!!!
ReplyDeleteGreg Lake's I Believe In Father Christmas - makes me cry more so since he died a few years ago. And of course Wham's Last Christmas - man I miss George Michael still cannot believe he died :-(
Oh gosh, I know. I've been a massive fan of George Michael since as long as I can remember. I miss him a lot during this time of year but the song is truly incredible.
DeleteThis is the first time I've heard of this Hanson medley! Thanks for sharing, Shannon:) I like it! My fave Xmas song is Grown Up Christmas List (Matt Bloyd version).
ReplyDeleteAww I'm glad you like it! It is definitely a big part of my holiday season. Ooh good choice. I absolutely love that song.
