review: paris hilton cosmetics (glam sticks set)

Another day, another Paris Hilton Cosmetics post! It seems that over the last several months, there have been more and more posts about this brand both here on the blog and on my YouTube channel. Not only am I a fan of Paris in general, but her makeup line is affordable and downright exciting. The latest item that has been added to my collection is this 6 Piece Full Glam Sticks set. It includes a bronzer stick, lip and cheek stick, three holographic sticks, and one glitter stick. That means lots of variety and several small travel sized products to test out. Are these a must have? Or are they only so-so? Here is everything you need to know about this Paris Hilton collection.

Packaging and Selection

Though Paris Hilton Cosmetics is on the affordable side, something I really enjoy is the attention to detail that always goes into the packaging. Yes, as you can see, this set comes in clear plastic packaging. However, there are all of these lovely, whimsical details that add a joyous feel to the collection. There are silver sparkly butterflies on the front, beautiful writing, and gorgeous shining labels on each product. The best part? Inside the actual packaging there are all of these small plastic butterflies. It's like having themed confetti! I thought that was such a cute little extra. Paris Hilton Cosmetics proves that just because a line is affordable doesn't mean you can't commit to a theme and make buyers feel special.

Now that you can see the products just a little bit better, I wanted to go through just what is inside. It includes: 1 Bronzer Stick in the shade Golden, 1 Cheek and Lip Stick in the shade Desire, 3 Holographic Sticks in Moonlight, Rose Potion, and Rose Gold, and 1 Glitter Stick in Lunar. First of all, the names are all so cute and do a great job of describing the colours themselves. I love that there is a mixture of different products here, including a bronzer, blush, highlights, and even a dash of glitter for that extra pop. The sticks themselves are fairly small but contain 0.21 fl oz per product.

Quality and Overall Impressions

It is clear that the packaging and variety is impressive...but do these actually work well? Yes, yes, and yes. In the past, I have had some positive experiences with Paris Hilton Cosmetics and some so-so experiences. So it really is hit or miss. Thankfully, this set was a total hit! The quality is outstanding. Each one has a rich and creamy texture and tons of colour payoff. For instance, the bronzer is a beautiful cream with a hint of shimmer. It works well if you want a lightly bronzed look but don't want to go full out with a contour routine. The Lip and Cheek Stick works so well as a blush. It is a stunning pink-peach colour that suits just about every skin tone.

Then you have the holographic sticks, which are cream highlights that have a purple finish, a bright pink, and a soft rose gold. The different shades means there is a beautiful highlighting shade for every possible makeup look. Then the set finishes off with a glitter stick. One swipe adds a subtle wash of pink and gold glitter and can be built up with ease. Overall, I am super impressed with this set. It was affordable, has great variety, and the colours are beautiful. They work well on the skin, last all day, and look gorgeous. Want to see some of the products in action? I used these to create an ultra glowing makeup look....

This Glam Sticks set from Paris Hilton Cosmetics was beyond impressive. These are easy to take with you on the go (in case you are travelling or simply want to amp up your look mid-day) and look fabulous. I love the cream consistency (if you have dry skin like me, these will be extra fabulous for you) and how easily these blend across the skin.
