beauty is only skin deep.
One of my least favourite things about winter, is the damage it does to my skin. I have dry skin to begin with, but the harsh winds and winter cold make it even worse. This year, I am trying to be diligent in my skin care routine. A little while back, I picked up a Garnier skin care set, specifically targeted for people with dry skin. It included the Garnier Body 7 Day Intensive Care Repairing Body Lotion, Moisture Rescue Makeup Removing Wipes and the Moisture Rescue Gel Face Lotion.
My Thoughts:
The Body Lotion is fantastic for dry skin. It adds a ton of moisture and lasts all day long. Unfortunately, I am not keen on the smell. In general, I am a fan of pretty, light scents. This one is unfortunately a bit too strong for my taste. This is a great moisturizer in terms of what it does, but the smell just isn't what I prefer.
The Makeup Removing Wipes are wonderful! I am really liking these. They have a nice rose scent, they take off all of my makeup really easily, and they don't try out my skin. These are a great solution for makeup lovers with dry skin!
The Gel Face Lotion is by far the stand out product from this set. It has honestly saved my skin so far this winter! It really moisturizes the skin and keeps it moisturized all day. It also has a really pretty light scent. I have been using this every morning and I am loving the results.
What products have you been using for your skin this winter?

ReplyDeleteWow, I need to pick up this set this winter too. I usaully use thick face creams in the winter, but not even that helps sadly. So will have to get the gel face lotion.
