What fashion obsessed girl isn't in awe of Carrie Bradshaw? The ultimate literary inspiration is coming to the small screen once again.

The Sex and the City prequel, The Carrie Diaries is currently being filmed as a new show on The CW. It will star AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie. If you've read the books, you know that the story follows Carrie Bradshaw during her senior year of high school in the 1980s, before she goes to New York.


It is hard not to be excited about The Carrie Diaries...Carrie Bradshaw is iconic! I can't wait to see the outrageous fashion, and watch the drama unfold.

    I haven't read...on the fence b/c SJP is so 'carrie' it will be hard seeing someone else play her...even though she's suppose to be in highschool!! Intrigued though...will have to watch to judge! X
