Lately, it seems that my to-do list is overloaded. There are always so many tasks to check off. I suppose that is the way of it. There are busier times and slower times...and this is a busier time. review + reveal: charmed aroma rose quartz candle

In my last post about Charmed Aroma, I mentioned that there were STORE CLOSING signs absolutely everywhere. Given the little that was left in the store at that time, it seemed that their days were numbered. Imagine my surprise when there was new stock at the store during my last visit to the mall. (But the STORE CLOSING signs remained. Perhaps stock from another location was brought there? It's hard to know.) Whether this was my last visit to Charmed Aroma remains to be seen, but I did decide to bring home one more candle. It is almost time. The snow outside is starting to melt and allegedly spring is already here. (Though there is a forecast for more snow in the next few days, so who knows!) When the weather is nice, my husband and I sometimes take walks when he comes home from work. This is something that started during the pandemic. There wasn't really anywhere else to go...so we would walk around the neighborhood for an hour or so. Last year, a trail opened up nearby, so we started to walk there instead. With the promise of spring on the horizon, my mind is focused on the return of our walks. Not only is this good for my physical health, but it is also nice to spend a little extra time together. Warm toned eyeshadow palettes have been popular for a while. And for good reason! There is something so beautiful about warm colours on the eyes. exciting spring fashion trends for 2023

My interest in fashion has certainly changed over the years. In the past, there was something inexplicably exciting about seasonal trends. Every few months, there was a new "it" colour and a new "cool" style that could be incorporated into my wardrobe. Though not all of the fashion trends matched my personal preferences, there were always at least one or two that stood out. Then the pandemic happened. Well, long story short, I now lovingly refer to myself as a human sweatpant. Working from home means fabulously comfortable clothes. Leaving the house less often means there are very few opportunities to get my fashion on. Even when the opportunity does arise these days, I find myself reaching for more comfortable and laid back options out of habit. What is a human sweatpant to do? Get inspired. It has been about three years since the start of the pandemic and only now am I looking for a healthy dose of fashion inspiration. There are lots and lots of spring trends for 2023. From styles to fabrics, accessories, and colours, there is a whole lot to choose from. These are a few of my favourites. 

heypop nail wraps (nail look + review)

Lately, my nail looks have been pretty simple: one colour painted on all of the nails. After all, sometimes, simplicity is best. That being said, other times, it feels nice to be a little more daring. Since I was leaning towards daring recently, the HeyPop Super Cute Nail Wraps seemed like the best possible option.
