music post: vacation edition!
I love British pop music. I don't know when it started exactly, but over the years, it has taken over my CD collection. (At least half of my CDs have been imported!) When I was in high school, there was this specialty channel that used to play episodes of Top Of The Pops. I remember on the first episode I watched, Gareth Gates was number one with "Anyone Of Us (Stupid Mistake)." I immediately fell in love, and scoured the room for a pen so I could write down his name. After the show ended, I Googled him and imported every single he had released.

we should come home from adventures...with new experience and character.
After an amazing week and a half of vacation, I am back home. Personally, I detest returning from holidays - it is inevitable, sadly! Getting back into routine and catching up on what you missed seems almost impossible. I had a fantastic time in London and Paris - regular old home just doesn't seem to match up at the moment. Over the next week or so, I'll be filling you all in on my trip, so look out for that.

the world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.
Very early tomorrow morning, I am heading to the airport to fly to London, England. London is my favourite place in the entire world. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled there four times before, but I have really been looking forward to this trip. I will be spending a week in London, and then three days in Paris. I am really excited to go to Paris, as I have never been before! I love traveling. So far in my life, I've been able to do a fair amount of it. It seems that every time I save up a bit of money, I'm spending it on a trip somewhere. It's worth it though.

kiss goodbye summer.
I have been avoiding the end of summer as much as possible. Despite the fact that it is nearly October (how did that happen??), I am still struggling with accepting the changing season. As a way to get myself to accept that it is fall, this post is all about fall inspirations. There are a lot of big things coming up for me in October. I am traveling, have exciting plans made with good friends, my birthday is at the end of the month, and then of course there is Halloween! I am optimistic.
