love it or leave it? ariana grande

It is time for another love it or leave it? here on the creation of beauty is art. Celebrity fashion can be fun, outrageous, beautiful, and well, a little bit of everything. Sometimes, a design wows, and other times, it falls totally flat. Where does this recent look from Ariana Grande fall? Take a look at the custom 16Arlington design created for the Wicked: For Good press tour.

What I Love: This custom design is a whole lot of fun. It is very clearly inspired by the character of Glinda in Wicked. It has cute design elements and comes in a soft pink colour. On the brand Instagram account, this was described as "a cap-sleeved mini dress with a puffball hem, hand-tacked with custom-dyed soft pink marabou feather." This essentially looks like an adorable pink cotton ball with a bow. While that may not thrill all fashion lovers, this absolutely delights me. It is so cute. I love the soft pink material, the bow detail at the waist, and the fact that the hair and makeup choices do not distract from the bold dress.

What I Loathe: Not a thing. I love absolutely everything about this cute Glinda inspired outfit. Based on comments that I have seen online, this look is a bit divisive, with some loving the poofy dress and others thinking it looks childish. Honestly, I think it is whimsical, fun, and well suited to the Wicked: For Good movie promotion. Fashion doesn't always need to be serious and sharp to make a statement. Something that is playful and imaginative can be just as impressive, which this look highlights.

  1. I general I like it, the only thing that, in my opinion, doesn't suits her very well is the hair (and eyebrow) color.
Maybe it was done just for the movie, and she looks nice anyway, but really to me she is more a striking beauty with brunette hair.
