friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "what! you too? i thought i was the only one."

Sometimes an experience is made not by the experience itself, but by the people you're with. That's how I feel about something that happened recently. My favourite band, Hanson, came to town to promote their latest album, ANTHEM. Let me just say, I am a huge Hanson fan. In fact, if there is one thing that people know about me, it's that I love Hanson!

 

 So, my friend Holly and I hauled ourselves downtown in terrible weather and bad traffic to watch them film an interview at Much Music. The experience was both good and well, not so good! The not so good? Things have really changed at Much! When I was younger, I used to go see things filmed there all the time. I met some celebrities I loved and somehow, they were accessible. Now? They do not want you getting close at all! It was an unorganized mob of Hanson fans....eesh! So, that was different.

The good? Spending some time with people I adore - you can't beat that! Not only did I get to see my friend Holly, who I don't get to see enough of, but I was able to catch up with a couple of other amazing Hanson friends. The memories we created that day will stay with me. Also part of the good - I got to see Hanson! Always, ALWAYS, good! I love them so much and let's be honest - Taylor looked just as perfect as always. (Biased and fangirly....all the time!)

Even though I didn't meet Hanson and things didn't go as we hoped, I still had a great time. And it is all thanks to my friends.
