Are you in a hair rut? I confess...I am.

For the last while - months and months, if I'm being honest! - I've worn my hair either curly or wavy. This is largely because it is easier since I have naturally wavy hair. I have fallen into the routine of putting my hair into a bun after my shower and just letting it air dry. When I want to something a little softer and romantic, I'll pull out my curling iron and add more definition to the waves.

On the other end of things, I used to straighten my hair. All the time. Pin straight hair or bust. However, my hair straightener has been neglected since the summer. I got into the habit of beachy waves and never really stopped!

Lately though, I've been trying to mix things up a bit. Rather than stay in my hair rut, I'm actively trying new things...just to get out of my comfort zone a little bit. Who knows how long this will last, but it's certainly forced me to be more creative when it comes to my hair!

What is your go-to hairstyle? Curly or straight?

    I'm in a hair rut as well :( I even bought an ombre kit to change things up but I'm afraid lol. You look great with both styles! I never have time to curl my hair so I usually just stick to straight.

    Both styles suit you equally well! But if you can naturally get the curly/wavy hairstyle, you should stick to that! Saves straightening your hair... I wish mine would look that pretty naturally.

    You look great in both, I can't pick one! I have been religiously straightening my hair ever since I really started paying attention to my appearance because my hair has a really weird texture when it's unstyled. Before I got my current straightener, I would sometimes straighten it twice a day D: I wish I knew about heat protectant spray then! However my coworker just showed me her method of getting nice waves like you've demonstrated here, so I'm going to try to get used to styling it like that. xxx

    I'm like you :P Air dry and waves. Sometimes (if I'm feeling particularly lively!) I'll straighten the ends and bangs so it's not too crazy. I used to straighten my hair EVERY DAY in high school and it was so awful for my hair. I had tons of split ends and flyaways. Straightening is definitely staying as a "sometimes" thing.

    Haha! Yes, I'm definitely that crazy kid. I get bored with my hair and I want to cut/color it some random color all the time...but I rarely have the you know what to do it! I think both styles look beautiful on you!

    Everyone has that phase they go through, straight hair or die! But I have been letting my hair stay curly.. I fancy a change in style but its so hard to commit! Explore and we'll get there eventually I suppose! :)
