Tomorrow is officially the first day of Spring. If you're anything like me, you've been counting down the days! As much as I love Christmas and the winter holidays, I am not a fan of the cold. Or the snow. Or the ice. The winter has been tough this year. Unfortunately, there were a lot of really bad snowstorms where I live.
All the more reason to look forward to Spring. This time of year always feels like a re-birth. It's time to start putting away the coats, scarves and gloves, and bring out cute floral dresses and flats. I really can't wait for Spring fashion!
To get you in the mood for the new season, here are a few lines from a wonderful Springtime poem:
the season of spring
an new awakening
busy humanity on earth
as if it’s a new birth
listen listen to my words
the season of spring is near
now a look into your lovely eyes
and one can see spring is already here
an new awakening
busy humanity on earth
as if it’s a new birth
listen listen to my words
the season of spring is near
now a look into your lovely eyes
and one can see spring is already here

Are you excited for Spring?

I'm so excited for spring! It feels like it's never coming though... I can't wait until I no longer have to scrape my windshield before going to work! In Saskatchewan we have had so much snow lately. We have about 3.5 feet piled on our front lawn! It's insane.
ReplyDeleteNice poem :)

I am SO excited for spring! I've heard that winter makes a lot of people depressed and I think I was a victim of that this year. Bring on the sunshine!

The picture and the poem is so lovely. :) I'm jealous because I live in a tropical country so we never really experience Spring here. So we can only dress up for summer or rainy seasons. :)
