Holidays always manage to bring joy to my life. From the colourful decorations to the family traditions...everything about those annual celebrations feels special. Though St. Patrick's Day is not a holiday that gives us time off work or brings relatives together, it has a special significance to me. It was on that day, many years ago now, that I met my husband for the first time. Ever since, I have always thought of it as "our" holiday. We make a point to spent it together and do our best to make it special.

This year, our celebration involves novelty cups from the dollar store, tacky green sunglasses, episodes of Bar Rescue, and a relaxing night in. I am also planning to bake a cake and decorate it with green icing. And of course, rocking some bold green makeup. I can't wait! It is sure to be a memorable night for the both of us.
