30 day beauty challenge: day 28


I hope 2012 is treating you well so far! I am still struggling with the changing year...I keep writing/typing 2011 all the time! By the time I get adjusted to it, it might well be 2013!

Today's beauty challenge is: Top Beauty Item You Can't Live Without.
Being a makeup lover, this was a difficult challenge. I am however, a huge eyeliner junkie. More recently, I have tried using shadows instead of liner for a softer look, or even - shock! - no liner at all, but nine times out of ten, it is all about the liner.

I love black eyeliner. The darker, the better. My favourite cream eyeliner is from Sephora, and my favourite liquid and gel liners are from Maybelline New York.

I love the texture of the gel liner. It is really easy to use and great for winged out cat eyes! The liquid liner is really dark in colour and lasts all day! Definitely great products!

So, my beauty must-have is black eyeliner. What is yours?

    I've got the new gel liner from maybeline but I don't like it that much, it's not liquid enough, for me at least! I'm still super happy with the eyeliner from bourjois. I'll stick with that one for 2012 :)

    That is SERIOUSLY my FAVE eyeliner ever...sadly SoCal is fresh out of that Maybelline...boooo...they discontinued it and now I can't find it anywhere!!! Even online! ARgghhhh, but you're right on point!! Excellent choice :D

    eyeliner is definitely key, but an essential for me it would probably be a good pressed powder foundation for a lovely complexion! :)

    I also love eyeliner, but i´m not using it that every day:P My eyeliner also has to be black as it can be (which sometimes ain´t the best idea :P)

    Great choice! My beauty product I can't live without is my bronzer. If I wear makeup I absolutely love to wear makeup on my cheeks especially and I mostly use bronzer because it gives my cheeks a natural glow.

    This looks like a great choice, I'm a huge fan of liquid and gel liner and I haven't tried this brand. I use a drugstore brand called Prestige but this one looks like really nice quality. Thanks for your sweet comment

    I don't know that lip gloss would be a beauty item, but it's the one thing I never leave home without (well, if you ignore iPhone, wallet, sunglasses & keys haha). I always have at least one or two in my bag at any time xx

    I guess I should save foundation since I won't walk out of the house without it, but I wanna say mascara because I can't leave the house without that either. haha, I'm in love with the maybelline gel liner, it beats out my MAC fluidline!
