Wicked: For Good was released last week to rave reviews and massive audiences. There has been all sorts of promotion for the movie over the last month or so, from television specials to commercials and merchandise. Wicked mania has taken over once more. In honour of the new movie (which I cannot wait to see)...here is an Elphaba inspired makeup look featuring some beloved products from my makeup collection. This shop my stash post is focused on green, black, and all things wicked.
Some themed products were chosen for this shop my stash makeup look. One example? The
Ozdust Eyeshadow Palette from the r.e.m. beauty x Wicked collection. This beautiful eyeshadow palette was released around the time of the first Wicked movie and has a really beautiful book design. There is themed artwork and eyeshadow shades that are ideal for Elphaba or Glinda themed creations. In addition to this Wicked themed palette, there were some everyday must haves, newer to me items, and one of my all time favourite lip products. Here is a closer look at the shop my stash items used...
As you can see from the photo above, the Ozdust Eyeshadow Palette has lots of sparkle and shine. There are also some matte shades to balance it all out. There are two cheek products shown as well, including the Balm Glow in Deep Plum from Revolution and the Blush Balm in Midnight Bloom from Quo Beauty. The plum colour of the Balm Glow paired well with the gorgeous glittery Blush Balm. The lip product pictured is the
Lux Lip Oil in Team Jacob from ColourPop. To say that I am obsessed with this lip oil would be an understatement. The cool toned colour is fabulous and looks extra special with smokey eye looks. For this shop my stash makeup look, a bit of the Fantasy Makers Liquid Eyeliner in Run For The Hills from Wet n Wild was added for an extra little pop of colour. Then there were some tried and true essentials used in the look, like the Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in Black from Annabelle, the Epic Ink Liner in Black from NYX, and Lash Without Limits Mascara from Essence.

The makeup look above used a handful of colours from the Ozdust Eyeshadow Palette. The dark green shimmer, Bewitching, was applied all over the lid, with a bit of the emerald green shimmer She's Phosphorescent! applied to the very center of the lid. The matte green shade, Positively Green was applied to the outer corner and along the lower lash line. The matte brown, Thrillifying! was used to blend out all of that colour. The black NYX liner was applied and then a bit of the green liquid eyeliner was applied to the ends. Mascara finished off the eyes and then the two blush products were used on the cheeks for a look that was glowy and glittery. Of course, the Team Jacob lip oil was used to bring in a bit of black, since Elphaba is most known for green and black. This was a fun, sparkly makeup look that made me even more excited to see the new Wicked movie.
