When tickets went on sale for the Beautiful Chaos tour, it was stressful. The presales sold out instantly and resale tickets were being posted for over a thousand dollars each. KATSEYE has quickly become one of my favourite groups and I wanted desperately to see them on their first tour. Thankfully, when the general sale took place, one ticket in the balcony was available by the time I reached the front of the virtual queue. I bought it without hesitation. The KATSEYE concert is one that I have been looking forward to for months and months. I was literally counting down the days, all too eager to see this fantastic band perform live. On that note...this post is dedicated to some concert highlights, a mini review, and KATSEYE inspired makeup.
My concert outfit was fairly simple, especially compared to some of the other concertgoers. Many wore super cute outfits - and some were even themed around different KATSEYE music videos. However, this was a show where I wanted to just have fun and be myself. Even though I have worn all sorts of dresses, skirts, and high heels in my lifetime, when it comes down to it, a t-shirt and jeans make me feel the best. So...a t-shirt and jeans it was. I wore a KATSEYE shirt that I ordered online (it has the Soft Is Strong imagery on the back) and my favourite pair of 90s style ripped jeans. for accessories, it was a thick chain necklace from Guess, purple studs from Kate Spade, and a ring with a light purple stone from Charmed Aroma. For the makeup, it was a colourful Morphe eyeshadow palette from my collection. Speaking of makeup, here is the look that I created for the concert.Friday, November 28, 2025
katseye concert review and makeup look
For this concert makeup look, the inspiration came from the Soft Is Strong EP colours. There were two different versions of the EP released and the Strong Version features lots of purple and yellow. Since there are all sorts of colourful eyeshadow palettes in my collection, it made sense to put one to use. It was an eyeshadow palette from Morphe that made the cut. There were some purples and yellows in that particular palette, which made it ideal given the Strong Version inspiration. To create the makeup look above, a soft lilac shade was applied to the inner portion of the lid and then lots of bright purple was blended in. There was some yellow worked through the crease for a subtle but bold addition and then some yellow was used along the lower lash line as well. The finished makeup look was fun and paired well with my Soft Is Strong EP inspired shirt.
