fall inspired #FOTD (warm and wearable colours)

There have been a few bumps in the road this month, but the arrival of the fall season has been lifting my spirits. Fingers crossed the rest of the month (and all of October) is much better. For now, it is time to dive headfirst into the promise of a fresh start with a fall inspired #FOTD. This look makes use of a few favourites and a newer eyeshadow palette in my collection.

The Rainbow Sharts Palette from Kim Chi Chic Beauty has a lot of bold colours, but it also has some warm and wearable eyeshadow shades as well. Since I wanted to create a makeup look inspired by fallen leaves, this particular palette made the most sense. There is burgundy, gold, copper, brown, and all sorts of other fabulous colours. Then there was the Thirsty Vampire Contour Palette from the Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers line and the Matte Lip Gloss from Revolution in the shade Divine. 

It all started off with the Rainbow Sharts Palette. The shade Penny was applied to the inner portion of the eyelid with Rich applied to the outer portion. Some of that beautiful gold shimmer, 24K, was added to the center of the eyelid for a little extra pop. The shimmery champagne shade, Champs, was used to blend everything out and on the inner corner. Some more Rich was applied on the lower lash line for an extra dose of colour. The warm blush shade in the Wet n Wild palette was used sparingly to add even more warmth and colour. Then the Revolution lip product was added to finish off the look. The soft brown colour paired well with the rest of the look. This seasonal #FOTD was easy to create and wonderfully fall inspired.
