Options are always nice, especially when it comes to accessories. There are all sorts of pieces in my collection, but there are certain ones that I have been reaching for more often in the last several weeks. The start of a new season often results in slightly different choices for one reason or another, so this post is dedicated to some of my current favourite accessories.

Gold Accessories. The focus has been on gold accessories in more recent weeks, mostly because of the outfits that I have been wearing. (Lots of warmer colours.) Lately, when my husband and I have gone out to dinner with friends or have made time to go to the movies, these are the accessories that have been added on. I have this gold necklace and bracelet set that is really cute. It is simple but still makes a statement! I love the wavy design and the length of the necklace. As for the ring? This is something that was purchased a few years back on a vacation to Walt Disney World. It is a gold ring with sparkly stones and then the band says, "Faith, trust, and pixie dust." This gold ring is an elegant way to add a little Disney magic to an outfit. 

Fun Pops of Colour. In addition to lots of gold, there has also been a focus on colour. I love whimsical accessories and that has not changed this spring season. I found these Turning Red earrings at Hot Topic many months back and have been wearing them a lot lately. The earrings depict Mei in her red panda form and are made from a rubbery kind of material. These are so cute and make any springtime look a lot more fun. As for the other pair of earrings shown, these have been in my collection for a few years. The amethyst coloured earrings are from Kate Spade and were purchased at a steep discount. I have really been loving that shade of purple lately and find myself wearing a lightweight purple sweater in that colour with these earrings. (My nails are currently a similar shade of purple, so the obsession runs deep.) It is nice to have fun with different accessories.
