"On October 3rd, he asked me what day it is...." Happy Mean Girls Day to all who celebrate! After all,
"It's October 3rd." There are certain movies that I watch over and over again. I never seem to grow tired of my comfort
movies and Mean Girls falls into that category. I have watched it hundreds of times in my life. (And have plans to watch it many more times in the future.) On this day, it seemed right to highlight some themed nail art tattoos that I have been loving lately from the brand Inked by Dani.
How cute are these nail art tattoos? One of my favourite finds at Winners is always something from Inked By Dani. I love temporary tattoos, because they are a fun, pain free way, to express your personality. I have used all sorts of temporary tattoos from the brand in the past (check out this old
favourites post as an example) and always add them to my cart when I come across them. So, imagine my delight at finding some Mean Girls themed nail art tattoos at a great price. (For the record, I also found some cute Clueless themed temporary tattoos and added those to my shopping cart as well.) The designs are adorable.
The
Mean Girls themed nail art tattoos are currently available on the Inked By Dani website for $14.99 USD, but I completely lucked out and found them at Winners on sale for $5 CDN. There are around 100 nail art tattoos in this set and each one is themed around the movie. For example, there is the Burn Book lettering, mouse ears, a school bus, quotes from the movie ("Grool" and "You Can't Sit With Us" are some examples) and even nail art tattoos that say, "It's Oct 3rd." Talk about cute. There is a really nice assortment to choose from. On this Mean Girls Day, my plan is to give myself a Mean Girls nail makeover. To use the nail tattoos, you apply the tattoo on the nail with water and then seal on with a clear nail polish. It is possible to use these on clean nails or polished nailed. My plan is to paint my nails white and then apply some fun nail art tattoos. The white base will make sure the decorative designs really stand out. Of course, the movie will be playing during my mini makeover.

These nail art tattoos are absolutely adorable, and finding a set with quotes like "Grool" and the Burn Book lettering is such a fantastic find, especially at that price from Winners, what a steal. Your plan to paint your nails white before applying them sounds perfect for making all those cute designs and movie quotes really pop, and having the movie on in the background is the only way to do it.
