shoe obsession: randy's donuts x toms

Randy's Donuts is iconic. Though I have never visited the beloved Inglewood, California location myself...the storefront has been featured in countless movies and television shows. It is known around the world. Which is one of the reasons that the footwear collaboration between Randy's Donuts and Toms was so exciting. Anything related to popular culture is a must-have. Especially when it is paired with one of my favourite shoe brands. Ready to take a peek at the Randy's x Toms shoes that have been added to my wardrobe? Find out why they have become a total shoe obsession? Here goes...

The shoes are beyond adorable. Talk about an impressive collaboration! There were other styles to choose from....but I love the dark navy with all of those multi-coloured donuts scattered throughout. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Toms shoes. (Check out my Disney themed Toms shoes here.) The reason for this? Many years ago now, my favourite band, Hanson worked with Toms. There were Hanson-themed shoes and they even sold Toms shoes during The Walk tour. Who knows...I may never have tried anything from the brand if not for that collaboration. But they are without a doubt, the most comfortable shoes out there. In fact, I still have my very first pair of Toms shoes and they remain ridiculously comfortable. That being said, they are in pretty rough shape on the outside now, since they are at least ten years old at this point. 

In addition to that first pair of Toms, my collection also features a pair that says, "be the change you wish to see in the world," the Cinderella themed pair, and now, the Randy's Donuts themed pair of shoes. Needless to say, Toms shoes are ultra comfortable and they last for a really long time. Actually, I have found that the more you wear them, the more comfortable they are. This particular style of shoe is great for those everyday experiences, like grocery shopping and walks around the neighborhood. But they also work well for all-day adventures, like visiting a zoo or a theme park. 

Style is fun but comfort is key. I love that Toms shoes blend together both style and comfort with ease. This particular pair has certainly become a shoe obsession. The fact that it relates to an iconic landmark is amazing. Not to mention the cute donut print and logo scattered throughout. Then you add comfort on top of that? It is a win-win-win situation. There is something so fun about junk food themed items and these canvas shoes are no exception. They are comfortable and cute. Perfection!
