review: eyeko london (eye do liquid eyeliner)
It has been a while. Several years ago, I tried out a couple of products from Eyeko London and loved them. They were fabulous! Only snag? I couldn't seem to find them to re-purchase. So somehow, time went on, and I sort of forgot about the brand altogether. Then my mom managed to score a couple of their products in a recent subscription box and passed along the pen eyeliner. Lucky me!
The Eyeko London Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner is a black liner with a fine felt tip. It claims to be waterproof and lash-enhancing - and the shade is carbon black. So, what are my thoughts on this liner? It was pretty solid. The colour is dark black and highly pigmented, it is easy to use, and the felt tip is not too thin or too thick. It is just right. This is a great product if you are in a rush or want to accomplish a totally gorgeous winged-out look.
This actually reminds me a lot of the Too Faced Sketch Marker eyeliner. The main difference, in my opinion, is the longevity. While I found the Too Faced version transferred in warm weather (very annoying, especially since it created a picture-perfect line), the Eyeko liner stays put. It lasts all day and looks beautiful. This is definitely one that I will be reaching for day after day.
Eyeko continues to be a brand that impresses. Every time I have tried one of their products, it has been extremely high quality. The Eye Do Liquid eyeliner is no exception. It works well and lasts from day to night with ease.
And in case you missed it....my new YouTube video is up! It is a bathroom tour that shows you all how I store lots and lots of makeup and beauty products in a super small space. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Have you tried anything from Eyeko London? What did you think of it?
