2 looks 1 palette: poisoned forest eye and face palette (wet n wild)

What eyeshadow palettes have you been reaching for lately? For me, it is the Poisoned Forest Eye and Face Palette from Wet n Wild. This is something that was purchased ahead of spooky season, but has been in heavy rotation ever since. There is something about the colour story that speaks to me, no matter the season. Since it is something that I use at least a few times a week, it seemed right to create a 2 looks 1 palette post to highlight some my favourite shades in this drugstore palette.

As a reminder, the Poisoned Forest Eye and Face Palette from the Fantasy Makers line has ten different eyeshadows in a variety of colours. There are swampy greens, earthy shades of brown, and all sorts of dark red eyeshadows. Though this was released around Halloween, it actually was an eyeshadow palette that I used often during the Christmas season thanks to all of the red and green options! Now that it is April, it is still used often because the colours are dramatic and a whole lot of fun to use. The quality of the makeup is impressive and there is a nice combination of matte and shimmer eyeshadows to choose from.

Look #1: Warm Reds. There are three different red eyeshadows in the Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette and all of them were used to create the look above. The lighter matte shade was applied all over the lid and then a bit of the darker red matte was applied to the outer corner and along the lower lash line. The light tan colour was used to blend everything out and add a little extra warmth. To finish off the eyeshadow look, there was a bit of the burgundy shimmer applied to the center of the eyelid. This was paired with a cool toned neutral lipstick and the Everlasting Blush in the shade Foxglove from KVD Beauty.

Look #2: Bold Neutrals. The matte neutrals in this eyeshadow palette are fabulous. I love the unique colours and how well they all work together. To create the look above, the brownish green shade was applied all over the eyelid and then the tan colour was used to blend it all out. Some of the matte brown was used through the crease and along the lower lash line for a little extra contrast. I absolutely love the way the eye look turned out. There is something about the matte neutrals in this Wet n Wild palette that wow every single time. The Poisoned Forest Eye and Face Palette has a nice assortment of colours.
