So far, this
theme week has included perfume reviews from Ariana Grande (thank u next 2.0) and Yves Saint Laurent (Mon Paris). The week is ending with a review of the Burberry Brit Eau De Parfum. This is another perfume that I was gifted for Valentine's Day and am finally reviewing here on
the creation of beauty is art. Spoiler alert: this perfume is a standout.
The bottle for Burberry Brit is fairly simple, but there is a cute pattern printed on the bottle that really makes it stand out. As for the scent, this has top notes of almond, lime, and pear. The middle notes are candied almond, sugar, peony, and Dragée. The base notes are vanilla, tonka bean,
amber, and mahogany. Despite this being a high end fragrance (which I often find to be too heavy and overpowering) this Burberry release checks all the boxes. It is light, sweet, and warm. Immediately, this scent reminded me of some other favourites in my perfume collection. In my honest opinion, the Burberry Brit perfume smells like a combination of the Snooki and Snooki Couture perfumes that were released back in the 2010s. I mean this as a compliment, because I love both of those unapologetically. The Burberry perfume is a slightly more elevated version of those scents.
Since receiving the Burberry Brit perfume two months back, it has been heavily used. I love the scent so much! It is sweet, warm, and well suited to the spring season. The cute print on the bottle and the lovely (somewhat
nostalgic) scent makes Burberry Brit a winner in my book. It has been such a delight to have this incredible bottle of perfume in my collection.
