happie creations: stay rad. read books.

Reading is one of my biggest loves. No matter what is going on in my life, there is nothing that relaxes me quite like picking up a good book. That's the amazing thing - a few page turns and suddenly you are whisked away to a totally new world. As far as I'm concerned, reading is like a best friend that is always there for you.

So, when Kelsey from Happie Reading sent me this gorgeous print (pictured above), Stay Rad. Read Books. I instantly fell in love with it. Not only is the design itself gorgeous, but the words really spoke to me. Too often now, people disregard books and taking the time to read. (Which is troubling for me, as my ultimate dream is to write books for a living!) That is why I love this print so much. I fully believe that the importance of reading should never be overlooked.

Already, I am on the hunt for the perfect frame for this print. I know exactly where I am going to put it - next to my book shelf. That way, I can look at it each and every time I reach out to an old friend.

If you're looking for a way to spruce up your space, be sure to take a look at Kelsey's Etsy shop, Happie Creations. She is so talented and I highly recommend it. There are a lot of beautiful prints to choose from - including this one. Here is a little sneak peek:

Have you visited Happie Creations yet? What do you think of this print?

  9. These days, most of the people I know don't bother to read because of applications, online journals, blogs, and other articles on the internet. But I think reading has a completely different effect, and even if you may read other things, there is nothing more comforting than picking up a yellowing, dusty book, and allowing the words to paint a picture in your mind. I rarely find time to read these days, but I've been trying, lately.

Those prints are so cute! I'd love to have them in my room, ahhh
