guest post: Mainly Meghan

Hi everyone! I hope your week is going well so far - only two more days until the weekend! I wanted to introduce the very first guest post on the creation of beauty is art. by Meghan from Mainly Meghan! Thanks so much to Meghan for this amazing fall inspired post!

Hey guys, it's Meghan from Mainly Meghan!

"Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower (Albert Camus)" is one of my favorite quotes. It's true, there is nothing prettier than the array of golden and red flowers scattered among each tree. Fall colors are just so fabulous, so are the makeup looks you can create using the shades of the leaves.

From left to right, it's Trish Mcevoy's Sable Bronze, ULTA'S Sunkist, a light pinky color from Sonia Kashuk's Sweet Nothings Palette, the dark brown from Revlon's Not Just Nudes, and finally, the light brown color from the Revlon palette. To create the perfect fall eye look, brush the light pink all over the lid, at Sunkist into the outer half of your lid. Add the Revlon light brown to the inner lid. Add the darker Revlon brown to the crease and sweep the bronze over it. Swipe on your favorite mascara... That's it!

Trish McEvoy's lip palette in Celebrate is literally the best product... Ever! From left to right the colors are Celebrate, Rosette, Cheers, Mulberry, London (my favorite), Quartz, Sheer Mulberry, Rose Petal, Miami, and Paris Red. What's great about this palette is that it has a color for any day, time, or place. The variety is spectacular! Also, the quality is just fabulous. It sticks to your lips like glue. The packaging is also great. It's the size of a credit card... It fits everywhere!

This is my go-to hair look. At 6 in the morning, I don't always feel like straightening my hair. It takes a minute to put my hair in a side ponytail, swirl it up into a bun, and after you secure it loosen it up a tad by loosening strands. For a more elegant look, curl a few stands that fall out and set with hairspray.

What are your favorite products to break out during fall?

Meghan
