love it or leave it?

The always beautiful Emma Roberts wore this last week at an event. I was immediately struck by this outfit. I love the sheer black collar mixed with that gorgeous metallic dress! I think the combination is simply stunning! I only wish there had been a belt to break things up a bit. Her hair and makeup are flawless - simple and elegant, and they really allow the dress to be showcased.

What do you think of Emma's outfit? Love it or leave it?

  1. I absolutely love it! I am such a sucker for peter pan collars and couldn't be happier that they're still in fashion. I do agree with the belt part, although I think it looks more formal without and it's more 70s without.

Lovely blog, I'ma following you :)

  3. I just found your blog and I really like your take on this, I agree she looks great and her makeup and hair is flawless but I think you're right a belt would have been good to break it up. I love the metallic look though. Following you now

  14. We love her but that outfit is definitely missing a belt.

However, with a belt we would take this colar off.

  15. I think she looks really great, and that dress really suits her! I like the metallic edginess with the sweet collar, but I do think that a little belt with it would be better. It looks like it's missing it!!! :)

  23. Collars, for such a small detail have definitely been making a statment in a big way this year. For me I'd LEAVE it outta my wardrobe but LOVE it when I see others pull off its sweet chic.

  29. Oh, I love it.. Emma is actually my favorite actress hahahahaha, this post makes me smile...
I agree with the idea of the belt... The Chanel golden belt Jessie J used in a Blackberry event with the galaxy jumper would fit it perfectly... Now it looks like a unfinished puzzle, but I'm still loving it!
Plus, thank you for your comment on my blog, I've been really absent but now I'm back, xox, Rita

  36. I actually like it without the belt. I think people rely too much on belts, so it's nice to see something stand alone.
