four ways to snag celebrity style at home.

What is it about the A-list? Our collective fascination with the rich and famous never seems to fade. From new movie releases to red carpet fashion…. the public interest in celebrities and celebrity culture cannot be denied. Do you keep up with all the latest gossip? Pick up a magazine specifically for the starlet on the cover? Check out their on and off screen style? You are not the only one. There are entire Instagram accounts devoted to what celebrities are wearing. Where they shop. Where they get their hair styled. These days, it has never been easier to achieve a celebrity inspired look at home. These tips will infuse your day with a healthy dose of Hollywood glamour.

Start By Focusing On Your Hair. If there is one thing celebrities are known for, it is their head-turning locks. Their hair always looks perfect. Whether it is Jennifer Aniston’s iconic layered look or Halle Berry’s soft and short waves, you can always re-create a celebrity inspired style at home. Flip through the pages of a celebrity magazine. Are there any specific looks that jump out at you? Take the photo with you to your local hair salon. Your stylist can cut your hair in a similar style. Or you can always give yourself an ombre style at home using something like the L'Oreal Colorista Ombre kit. Add in a pop of colour (like teal or pink) to elevate the look even further. Another way to snag celebrity style at home is to focus on the products you use on your hair. Invest in salon quality items for added shine and volume.

Give Yourself That A-List Glow. Yes, it is still winter. That doesn’t mean you can’t snag that enviable celebrity glow. You know the one. It features dewy cheeks and sun-kissed skin. To achieve the look, start by applying a body and face moisturizer with a gradual tanner. Do this every other day. That way, you won’t look ultra bronzed…. but your skin will still have that oh-so-gorgeous glow. You can also use beauty products to score that gorgeous glow. Product suggestions include: a cream highlight (use cream rather than powder during the winter months to avoid dryness and flakes) and reaching for a light bronzer instead of a blush. Your skin will look fresh, healthy, and totally worthy of a paparazzi snap.

Take a Good Look At Your Wardrobe. Celebrity style is not unattainable. Despite what people would like you to believe! The best part is that it doesn’t have to cost you a small fortune either. Instead of splurging on a whole new wardrobe full of designer labels, take a look at the pieces you already have. Remember, the key to celebrity style is that less is more. Most A-listers tend to stick to classic silhouettes, well-tailored pieces, and basics. For instance, a fitted blazer with a plain white t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans and nude heels. Or a simple knee-length dress with some glitzy accessories. Avoid wearing trendier items if you are on a budget and stick to timeless pieces instead.

Wear Stunning But Simple Makeup. Some celebrities wear tons and tons of makeup. It also takes them hours to get ready for an event. Guess what? You can look just as incredible without spending half of your morning in front of the mirror. Opt for simple makeup that gives you that undeniable hint of glamour instead. Grab a contour and highlighting palette (there are both high end and drugstore versions available) to give your face that stunning and sculpted look. Then throw on some false eyelashes and a hint of cream blush. You will be polished, pretty, and ready to take on the world.

Celebrity style isn’t just for celebrities. Not anymore, at least. These days you can create your own Hollywood inspired look...with or without a red carpet! Put these tips to the test and create a look that is celebrity inspired but completely your own.
