sweater weather is better weather.

There is a chill in the air. Ahh...bliss! The weather where I live has been inconsistent, with warm days followed by a string of cooler days, and then another warm day thrown into the mix for good measure. It seems things have finally balanced out now and sweater weather is here to stay. Truth be told, this is my favourite kind of temperature. It isn't so cold that I shiver into my heavy jacket and snow boots, but is cool enough that I can wear a chunky sweater and feel both fashionable and fall inspired. On that note, it is time for a little inspiration post. This time, it is dedicated to the fabulousness that is sweater weather.

There is a lot to love about this time of year. It just feels so cozy and magical! Outside, the trees are a mixture of warm reds, oranges, and yellows, and the leaves are scattered all over the sidewalks. Inside, there are pumpkin scented candles to light and blankets to snuggle under. Thank goodness for the fall season...and thank goodness for sweater weather.

Have you been enjoying sweater weather season so far? What time of year is your favourite?

  2. I think that your fall is like winter here ^^
Now I'm still in short sleeves during the day, even if at morning and evening is pretty chilly (but an hoodie and leather jacket is enough to stay warm).
To be honest I don't really like cold and heavy clothing, my fav season is spring/early summer but I do love the light, the air and colors of the nature in this period!
And all the holidays! Halloween, Christmas, I totally loooove that atmosphere!

  5. It has been really mild over here for this time of year! Usually I am having to defrost my car but not yet! Lots of rain though. With Hallowe'en over, it is now time for Christmas and with a kid, it gets more exciting! :-D

  6. Winter has been my favourite season ever since I was a kid, but Autumn is very quickly joining it. I love the quiet and tranquility of snow, but I also love colours and feel of Autumn; the sight of the reds, oranges, yellows of the leaves and the feel of soft, cozy sweaters and boots.

    1. Yes! The quiet tranquility of snow is the perfect way to describe winter. I love the softness, the stillness, and the wonder. But when it comes to fall, those warm colours fill my heart in a way that is hard to describe.
