#FOTD: sparkle and shine featuring lise watier stardust

The holiday season is steadily creeping closer...and I could not be more thrilled. Though it is still November, there has been Christmas music playing in my home on a regular basis. (I like to start as early as possible so I can soak up all of that seasonal magic.) In addition to Christmas music, many of my recent makeup looks are seasonally inspired. For example, I have been putting the Stardust Glitter Liner and Shadow from Lise Watier to use. Most years, my mom gifts me the Eye Glitter Liners from the brand for my birthday, but this year, it was the Stardust Glitter Liner and Shadow in the shade Opale. Here is a #FOTD.

According to the brand, the Stardust Glitter Liner and Shadow from Lise Watier is a multifunctional liner and shadow that "offers a real concentration of fine glitter for an ultra-sparkling metallic finish." The Eye Glitter Liner also has an Opale shade and it is an iridescent white. (It also happens to be my favourite of the glitter liner colours.) Since I have loved another product in the same shade, it was exciting to have the Opale colour to use as an eyeshadow this time around. There is something about the Christmas season that makes glittery makeup looks feel even more appropriate. It is easy to use the Stardust Glitter Liner and Shadow. There is a small brush applicator that makes application mess free and precise. Here is a recent #FOTD...

To create the makeup look above, all of my favourite makeup essentials were used (check those out here). In addition to those everyday essentials, the Stardust Glitter Line and Shadow was used. Opale was applied all over the eyelids and then some neutral browns were used to add a little contrast to all of that sparkle and shine. On the cheeks and lips, warm berry colours were used. I love the contrast between the matte products and all of that glitter - and between the cool and warm colours.
