current obsession: deep plum balm glow (revolution)

Beauty products in various shades of purple have long been my weakness. Purple lipstick? Yes. Purple eyeshadow? Yes. Purple blush? Yes. No wonder the Balm Glow in Deep Plum from Revolution has become a current obsession. This is something that I found a few months back at Winners (of course) for a deeply discounted price. With the cooler weather on the way, a multiuse balm sounded like a logical (and colourful) choice. Keep reading to find out more about this product and how it performed.

The Balm Glow comes in a tin container. It has a screw off lid to prevent the product from drying out and there is a good amount of product inside. The shade Deep Plum is the one that spoke to me, but there are several other options available on the Revolution website. This is described as a multi use balm for the cheeks, eyes, and lips. The idea is that this product can add a flush of colour to the face and deliver a dewy finish. Since the weather is starting to cool down where I live (snow and ice are in the not so distant future), this is the ideal time to reach for non-powder products every now and then. Though the balm can be used on the cheeks, eyes, and lips, this is something that I have been primarily using on the cheeks. I love that the colour is buildable, warm, and a little bit different to the other blush shades in my collection. The finish is so nice and glowy. 

This fall season, there has been a lot of deep plum incorporated into my makeup looks. It is a fabulous colour for this time of year. The Balm Glow from Revolution is super simple to use, colourful, and leaves the skin looking better than before. I love the colour, the finish, the packaging, and the ease of use. This affordable makeup item remains my current makeup obsession.
