one/size eye popper sparkle vision eyeshadow (review + makeup)

One/Size is a brand that has long intrigued me, thanks to the fact that it was created by YouTuber and makeup artist, Patrick Starrr. Since I've been a fan of his work for many years now, it was only natural that I would also be interested in his makeup line. I'll be honest...the initial products didn't cause me to run off to Sephora. (They were makeup removers.) That being said, the One/Size Visionary Eyeshadow Palette has become a staple in my makeup collection. I reach for it often, because it has unique neutrals, and an incredible formula. Though I love that palette, I haven't tried anything else from the brand. Until now. As you probably know, I love eye makeup the most, so the One/Size Eye Popper Sparkle Vision Eyeshadow was on my wish list. Recently, I was able to put the shade Everything & More to the test. Patrick Starrr is well known for his makeup. He's had collaborations with MAC in the past, has his own YouTube channel, has done makeup on countless celebrities, and now, there is One/Size. As you can see from the photo above, the One/Size Eye Popper Sparkle Vision Eyeshadow is ultra glitzy. The shade Everything & More is a sparkly rose gold and it is absolutely beautiful. According to the brand, these liquid eyeshadows have an eye-catching balance of glitter and pigment, they are flake-free, and the formula stays put. All you need to do to apply the shadow is swipe it onto the lid with the applicator. 

Are the brand claims true? In a word...yes. I've used different liquid eyeshadows before with varying degrees of success. Some work really well and others crease after a few hours. The One/Size shadow was really nicely pigmented, ultra sparkly, ridiculously easy to apply, and didn't crease the entire day. (And I've worn it from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and it still doesn't budge.) This has great staying power and looks really beautiful! I have worn it as a one-shadow look before, but my favourite way to wear it is with a matte neutral shade through the crease. It creates a nice contrast to all of that sparkle and shine. The finish is beautiful and as someone that loves glitter, this is a quick and easy way to add something special to a makeup look. 

Overall, my first experience with the One/Size Eye Popper Sparkle Vision Eyeshadow has been a great one. Though I can't speak to the other colours in the line, the shade Everything & More is excellent. The formula is stellar and the longevity is beyond impressive. Whenever I want a quick and easy makeup look that is anything but understated...this a solid choice.
