does it work?? vibrant shimmer metallic eyeshadows

Liquid eyeshadows can be hit or miss. Some perform well and last all day long while others crease almost instantly. The Vibrant Shimmer Metallic Eyeshadows from Le Mercerie were simply too tempting to resist. Not only was the product ultra affordable ($1.50 CDN) but there were three mini pots of liquid glitter eyeshadow included in this set. The shades were Midnight, Bronze, and Copper. Three wearable liquid eyeshadows to test! So...does it work? Keep reading to find out how this product performs.

There are three stacked eyeshadow pots with a small amount of product in each and a small doe foot applicator. On the bottom is the Copper shade, then Bronze is in the middle, and Midnight is on the top. There is not a ton of product provided, but the stacked design makes it possible to test out three different colours and actually finish them all before the product dries out. I love that this product is ultra affordable, there is a nice amount of variety, and there are doe foot applicators in each eyeshadow pot to make sure application is quick and easy. The Vibrant Shimmer Metallic Eyeshadows are well thought out. 

All three of the liquid eyeshadows were used to create the makeup look above. The Copper colour was applied all over the lid with the doe foot applicator and then a bit of the lighter colour, Bronze, was applied to the center of the eyelid for a little bit of contrast. The black shade, Midnight, was applied through the crease to finish off the look. The Copper and Bronze liquid eyeshadows are phenomenal. These have a beautiful finish and are richly pigmented. On the other hand, the Midnight colour was a bit patchy, so the product was applied with the doe foot applicator, but was then worked through the crease using a fluffy eyeshadow brush. The end result was a warm and wearable makeup look. When it comes to longevity, this affordable makeup product was surprising in the best possible way. As mentioned earlier, liquid eyeshadows can be hit or miss. I have tried all sorts over the years and some releases have a tendency to crease. The Le Mercerie liquid eyeshadows did not crease at all. The product looked freshly applied hours several hours after the initial application. This is a new affordable favourite. 

Does it work? Absolutely. The Vibrant Shimmer Metallic Eyeshadows are affordable, beautiful, and have impressive longevity.
