more main street melts candle co. fragrance oils

After my last Walt Disney World vacation, it was hard to settle back into real life. Especially knowing it was not a place that I could return for several years. (Partly because Disney is expensive, but mostly because of the political situation over there.) So, it was Main Street Melts Candle Co. that I turned to. Their products made it possible to bring a little bit of Disney magic to my home. The first time around, there were ten fragrance oils added to my Etsy cart. All have been used regularly since that time, but the Spaceship Earth inspired blend was easily the most loved. My bottle reached the halfway point and I decided to purchase a couple of backup bottles. And while I was browsing, I decided to purchase a few Christmas gifts for loved ones. And then I decided to try a few other essential oil blends. Truth be told, my shopping cart got a little out of hand, but I am now stocked up for the foreseeable future. On that note...this is part one of my latest main Street Melts Candle Co. order. The second half will be posted at some point, but for now, it is time to find out more about these theme park inspired scents.

For part one of this theme park scent review, there are seven fragrance oils from Main Street Melts Candle Co. highlighted. With so many interesting scents to choose from, it was hard to make decisions. Ultimately, I decided to focus on the rides that mean the most to me and the holiday celebrations that make life feel extra special. Here are some mini reviews...

  • Green Clover and Aloe. The first fragrance oil is Green Clover and Aloe, which is intended to mimic the scent used in some of the Disney hotels. This is described as "clean and crisp clover blends with botanical leafy notes." It bright, fresh, and clean. It makes any space feel happier - and instantly takes me back to that blissful feeling of walking into the lobby at a Walt Disney World hotel after a long day at one of the theme parks.
  • Tiki Room. Next is Tiki Room, which I also ordered for my sister. (It is one of her favourite rides at the theme park.) This scent is described as "an earthy union of bamboo foliage and rich green florals, with top notes of bergamot, lime and grass, with cucumber, bamboo, and violet." This is a warm floral that is not too overpowering, but perfectly captures the essence of sitting in the iconic Enchanted Tiki Room. The scent is calming and grounding.
  • Twilight Zone. Another favourite ride of mine is The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Though there is a different overlay at the Disneyland park, it is the Walt Disney World version that is the best. The spooky haunted hotel is themed to perfection - and is a real thrill ride. As for this fragrance oil, it is described as having "touches of powder, musk, amber, and vanilla." Since I tend to like fragrances with amber and vanilla, this was instantly a winner. The powder and musk create that spooky abandoned hotel vibe. This scent been used a lot this spooky season.
  • Main Street Christmas. It is no secret that I love Christmas. Though I have never been in Walt Disney World at Christmastime (I would rather be at home), I can imagine how wonderful it must smell at the parks during that time of year. Especially on Main Street! Main Street Christmas is described as "a luscious blend of tart cranberries, spiced apples, and fresh California orange peel." This sounded like a traditional Christmas scent that I would enjoy, with or without the Disney association, so it was quickly added to my cart. It smells like Christmas in a bottle.
  • Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. It was difficult to choose between the different Christmas scents, so both were added to my cart. In Walt Disney World, there is the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. Even though most of the ornaments are breakable and too difficult to bring home in one piece, it is always fun to look around. The store is absolutely magical and always smells amazing. Thankfully, this oil smells exactly like the store. It is described as being "infused with natural essential oils, including orange, cinnamon, clove, vetiver, and pine." Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe smells fantastic. It has a really traditional Christmas small, but it is quite strong, so a little goes a long way in my diffuser.
  • Philharmagic. Another favourite at Walt Disney World is Philharmagic, which is a 3D concert movie that makes you feel like you are in all sorts of classic musical numbers. This show has different special effects, like little water sprays and different scents. The Philharmagic oil mimics the scent from the Beauty and the Beast portion. It is described as "classic pie spices including cinnamon and clove. Hints of peach and almond enhance the juicy, fresh baked apples, while flaky pie crust, vanilla, and a caramel drizzle round out the base." Food scents are always welcome in my home. In this one, the apple really comes through, but there is a sweetness that balances it all out.
  • Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. One of the newer rides in Walt Disney World is Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. It is fun, but not necessarily a favourite. However, when I read the description for this scent, it was too tempting to ignore. This one is described as having a "captivating aroma of freshly baked bread." I mean....who wouldn't want their home to smell like freshly baked bread? This does smell like delicious bread, but the scent is a little more complex. It is warm and inviting. Definitely a nice addition to my theme park fragrance oil collection.
My second order from Main Street Melts Candle Co. came much faster than the first order. Everything was packaged well, there were no spills or issues, and each bottle has a cute Disney themed label. Overall, my experience with the company has been really positive. I love that these blends capture the magic of Walt Disney World and make some of the most memorable scents accessible. It has been such a treat to be able to make my home smell like the most magical place on earth.
