makeup tutorial: cassie blake (the secret circle)
Let me cut to the chase: "The Secret Circle" is awesome.
From the first episode, I have been hooked. It is quickly becoming one of my favourite new shows! Every episode I watch, I am always in love with main character, Cassie's makeup. It is simple, wearable, but so pretty. So, I decided to do a quick tutorial on it! This look is really easy to do, but very pretty.
FACE:
Cassie's skin is always flawless. Definitely choose a foundation with a full coverage for this look! Remember to apply concealer wherever needed. Cassie doesn't tend to wear too much on the cheeks, but just a touch of bronzer or a warm blush on the apples of the cheeks will pull this look together! Also, the brows in this look are quite strong, so be sure to fill in your brows if needed!
EYES:
Start with a neutral eyeshadow all over the lid, slightly darker than your skin colour. Then, taking a medium brown shade, apply in the outer corner and into the crease. With just a touch of a deeper brown shade, apply to the outer corner. Remember to blend everything to soften the look. Apply a thin line of eyeliner on the upper lash line. Lastly for the eyes, mascara! Her eyelashes are amazing, so definitely apply two coats on the upper lashes and one on the bottom lashes. You could even wear false lashes with this look if you want!
LIPS:
Lips are really the most important part of Cassie's look. She usually has a really beautiful berry coloured lip. So choose a lipstick in a berry tone and add some lip gloss over top.
The finished product:
As you can see, this look is so easy and wearable. Great for everyday. What do you think of the makeup and "The Secret Circle?"
wow you have stunning eyes!
