friends week: introduction + new friends items

It is time for another theme week on the creation of beauty is art. This time? It is all about the television show, Friends. This iconic show has been part of my life for a very long time and remains one of my favourites. Over the holiday season, my friends gifted me some fabulous themed items, and so it only made sense to write about them here. Friends Week will start off with a peek inside a themed planner and notebook, then there will be a Charmed Aroma review and reveal post, and a makeup look that puts the Revolution x Friends collection to good use. Ready to get started? To find out what these television themed products are like? The first themed post is all about a Friends inspired notebook and planner.

What is it about notebooks? They have always brought me so much joy. Those empty pages are full of possibilities and that in itself is thrilling. So, when I was gifted a Friends notebook (with a purple cover and peep hole frame on the cover)...it was exciting for many reasons. First of all, it looks super cute. Secondly, I love the fact that there are spirals down the side, because this makes the notebook so easy to write in. There are also little Friends inspired doodles at the bottom of the pages, which makes this notebook an adorable addition to my life. I've been using it to write lists, keep track of some goals, and jot down notes whenever needed. It is aesthetically pleasing and practical. The best combination!

Now for the planner. It is no secret that I love a good planner. In fact, I have several on-the-go at any one time. My main planner is the Fringe 2022 Planner, where I keep track of my daily tasks (work, laundry, bills...all of the everyday stuff). Then I have a 52-Week Planner from The Mindfulness Journal, which is a place to track weekly goals, mood, and write short journal entries. Now? I have also added this beautiful Friends planner to my life as well. As you cans see from the pictures above, this is so well themed. Each page has some sort of quote or doodle that references an iconic episode of the show. That makes planning even more fun and colourful! Since this does not have the dates pre-printed in, this planner can really be customized. I love to use this to organize my creative projects. For instance, blog posts ideas, writing goals for my book, articles to be done...all of the good stuff! It helps me stay organized and brainstorm in a separate place.

These Friends themed items are definitely making my life a little more organized...and fun! Stay tuned for even more Friends inspired content this week, like a coffee scented candle and a colourful makeup look.

Are you a fan of Friends? What do you think of these Friends inspired items?
