Everyone has a feature they love to accentuate. For me, it has always been my eyes. Not only do they receive the most compliments from others, but I love that they are a little on the large side and stand out. On a regular basis, I like to have fun with my eye makeup to draw attention to this area but every now and again, it is fun to do something different. Like try out a pair of coloured contact lenses and false lashes from Lens Village. Today, I will be sharing my thoughts on the items and showing you how they look.
Lens Village: Lashes Glam Luxe 502
False lashes have always been something I love the look of....but not something I wear all that often. They are normally reserved for special occasions, like a night out, my birthday, or a makeup tutorial for either my blog or YouTube channel. That being said, I do have quite a few pairs! Most of them are lash accents or more natural lashes, so this time, I was looking for something extra glam. Which is why I chose the Glam Luxe #502 falsies. They flare out on the ends, are super thick, long, and dramatic. When I put them on, I was shocked at how over the top they really were. These are gorgeous, easy to apply, and are really great quality. However, since they are so dramatic, these are best suited for a night out, special dinner, or going clubbing.
Lens Village: Puffy 3 Tones Blue Lens
Next were these coloured contact lenses. They are Puffy 3 Tones Blue Lens from the brand Dueba. Immediately, I was drawn to these. I knew right off the bat that I wanted to see what it would be like to have blue eyes. Mine are naturally a mix between green and blue - so I was eager to see what a full-blown blue would look like on me. These lenses looked bright, colourful, and downright gorgeous. And they were! These arrived carefully packaged and even came with an adorable lens case that looks like a puffer fish. Since I wear contacts on a regular basis, putting them in was a breeze, and these matched my prescription perfectly. (Which is something I really like about Lens Village. The fact that you can get prescription or not prescription lenses!) The lenses themselves felt a bit uncomfortable for the first five minutes of wear, but after that, they felt like nothing at all. It was just like wearing my regular contact lenses.
These gave off an intense amount of colour and looked really vibrant. Want to see? Here is a picture I took wearing both the coloured contact lenses and the false eyelashes from Lens Village.
Both of the items I received from Lens Village were stellar. The quality was excellent, they were well packaged, and they performed exactly as I hoped they would. The lashes are bold and the lenses are an enchanting shade of blue. Between both products, my eyes definitely pop! These were a lot of fun to play around with and I can't wait to wear them again in the future.
